Kofi Kingston/Daniel Bryan WWE Fastlane Contract Signing Segment: 

Shane & Stephanie McMahon are the master of ceremonies for this particular contract signing. Daniel Bryan will be putting his WWE Title on the line in twelve days at WWE Fastlane. Shane goes over Kofi Kingston’s resume. Shane says that the WWE will no longer overlook this man. Kofi was a last minute substitute in a gauntlet match and earned a victory over Daniel Bryan. Then Kofi almost won the title at the Elimination Chamber.

The McMahon Family introduces Kofi Kingston. Kofi walks down to the ring with The New Day. It’s been eleven years and all he wanted was a chance. After eleven years, it is happening. Kofi knows that none of this would have been possible if it wasn’t for the tweets, hashtags, smoke signals, and letters. At Fastlane, he will do what everyone wants to see him do. He’s going to beat Daniel Bryan and become the WWE Champion.

Bryan signs the contract. Kofi is excited to put his pen on paper. Before Kofi can sign the contract Vince McMahon comes out on the stage. Vince wants Kofi to know how appreciative he is of what Kofi has done over the last 11 years. However, to give everyone the best match with the best box office, he is replacing Kofi. He’s appointing a man more deserving and more qualified than Kofi Kingston, Kevin Owens. The New Day are livid as they head to the backstage area. Owens signs the contract and stares down Bryan.

First Match: The Bar vs. The Hardy Boyz 

Cesaro and Jeff will start things off. Collar and Elbow Tie Up. Cesaro applies a top wrist lock. Jeff kicks Cesaro in the gut. Jeff hammers down on the left wrist of Cesaro. Jeff tags in Matt. Matt with a Flying Elbow Smash. Matt follows that with the arm-ringer. Cesaro kicks Matt in the gut. Cesaro uppercuts Matt. Cesaro tags in Sheamus. Sheamus is throwing haymakers at Matt. Sheamus drives his knee into the midsection of Matt. Matt kicks Sheamus in the chest. Matt with a straight right hand. Matt tags in Jeff. The Hardy’s hit their SomerSault Leg Drop/Fist Drop Combination. Matt ducks a clothesline from Cesaro. Jeff with a double leg takedown. Leg Drop/Basement Dropkick Combination. Jeff lands a SomerSault Plancha off Matt’s back.

Matt plays to the crowd. Jeff rolls Sheamus back into the ring. Jeff bounces Sheamus head on the top turnbuckle pad. Sheamus reverses out of the irish whip from Jeff. Jeff kicks Sheamus in the jaw. Jeff goes for The Whisper In The Wind, but Cesaro gets in the way. Cesaro sends Jeff crashing to the outside. Sheamus tags in Cesaro. Cesaro with a Flying Leg Drop for a two count. Cesaro tags in Sheamus. Jeff is displaying his fighting spirit. Sheamus drops Jeff with a back elbow strike. Jeff crawls under Sheamus. Sheamus applies a front face lock. Jeff decks Sheamus with a JawBreaker. Sheamus tags in Cesaro. The Cesaro Swing. Cesaro locks in The Sharpshooter. Sheamus delivers The Ten Beats Of The Bodhran. Sheamus with a SlingShot Reverse Suplex for a two count. Sheamus applies a rear chin lock.

Coming out of the commercial break, The Bar continues to cut the ring in half. Cesaro kicks Jeff in the chest. Double Clothesline for a two count. Cesaro kicks Matt off the ring apron. Cesaro tags in Sheamus. Jeff with a Back Elbow Smash to Sheamus. Jeff creates distance with The Whisper In The Wind. Jeff tags in Matt. Matt is throwing forearms at Cesaro. Matt repeatedly bounces Cesaro’s head on every turnbuckle pad in the corner. Matt with a Corner Clothesline. Matt goes for a Running Bulldog, but Cesaro blocks it. Matt drops Cesaro with The Side Effect for a two count.

Matt with a Flying Elbow Drop for a two count. Matt knocks Sheamus off the ring apron. Matt goes for The Twist Of Fate, but Cesaro blocks it. Cesaro drives Matt face first into the middle rope. Sheamus kicks Matt in the face. Cesaro rolls Matt over for a two count. Cesaro tags in Sheamus. The Bar goes for their White Noise/Diving Clothesline Combination, but Jeff counters with The Twist Of Fate. Matt rolls Sheamus over for a two count. Matt kicks Sheamus in the gut. Matt connects with The Twist Of Fate. Matt tags in Jeff. Jeff lands The Swanton Bomb to pickup the victory.

Winner: The Hardy Boyz via Pinfall 

Second Match: R-Truth (c) w/Carmella vs. Andrade Cien Almas w/Zelina Vega vs. Rey Mysterio in a Triple Threat Match For The WWE United States Championship 

Almas dropkicks Mysterio after the bell rings. Truth drives his knee into the midsection of Almas. Truth goes for The Scissors Kick, but Almas ducks out of the way. Almas drops Truth with a Big Boot. Mysterio responds with a SpringBoard Hurricanrana. Mysterio slides under Truth. Truth with a Spinning Elbow Strike for a two count. Mysterio launches Truth to the ring apron. Almas PowerBombs Truth on the floor. Mysterio with a Baseball Slide Dropkick. Mysterio goes for a Sliding Splash, but Almas counters with a ShotGun Dropkick. Almas goes for a SuperPlex, but Truth gets in the way. Truth gets Almas in the electric chair position. Mysterio hits The Doomsday Hurricanrana for a two count.

Mysterio kicks Truth in the chest. Mysterio ducks a clothesline from Truth. Truth decks Mysterio with a back elbow smash. Both men are knocked down after a double crossbody block. Almas with a ShotGun Meteora. Almas goes for another ShotGun Meteora, but Truth ducks out of the way. Truth is throwing haymakers at Almas. Truth clotheslines Almas. Truth with a single leg dropkick. Truth plays to the crowd. Truth lands The Stinger Splash. Truth with a Spinning Side Slam. Truth hits The Five Knuckle Shuffle for a two count.

Truth goes for The Attitude Adjustment, but Vega gets in the way. Carmella pulls Vega off on the ring apron. Almas drives Truth shoulder first into the steel ring post. Mysterio with a SpringBoard Seated Senton. Mysterio follows that with a Tilt-A-Whirl HeadScissors TakeOver. Almas dodges The 619. Almas shoves Mysterio to the corner. Mysterio kicks Almas in the jaw. Almas responds with a discus elbow smash for a two count. Mysterio with a Big Boot. Mysterio goes for The Quebrada, but Almas catches him in mid-air. Truth applies a waist lock. Mysterio sends Almas and Truth face first to the middle rope. Mysterio connects with The 619 on Almas. Truth rolls Mysterio over to pickup the victory. After the match, Almas attacks Mysterio from behind. Mysterio negates The HammerLock DDT. Mysterio goes for The 619, but Vega pulls Almas out of harms way.

Winner: Still WWE United States Champion, R-Truth via Pinfall 

Charlotte Flair Promo: 

It’s not very often that the Queen gets to witness history instead of making history. Mr. McMahon made the main event of Fastlane even better. Kevin Owens versus Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship. Almost as important as Vince anointing her to save the main event of WrestleMania against Ronda Rousey. She knows why he did it. It’s because Charlotte knows her lane and she stays in it. Unlike the criminal Becky Lynch or the quitter Ronda Rousey. Charlotte always delivers. Charlotte is the gold standard. On Monday, Becky gets arrested and Ronda lays down the title that Charlotte carried so proudly.

Charlotte wouldn’t have laid down the title. They were both thinking that they fear Charlotte. Fear makes you do irrational things. Becky was afraid of being exposed on the big stage for the fraud she is. Rousey fears that she will give her another beating of a lifetime like she got at Survivor Series. Charlotte fears nothing. A true champion fears no one. We saw a clip of Ronda Rousey talking about what it takes to be a real champion. The difference is that Charlotte will never quit and she will never lay down the title. Charlotte is the true champion. That is why next Monday on Raw, she will show up so Vince crown the new Raw Women’s Champion. Someone who deserves it. Your queen, Charlotte Flair.

Third Match: Aleister Black & Ricochet vs. Rusev & Shinsuke Nakamura w/Lana 

Black and Nakamura will start things off. Nakamura kicks the left shoulder of Black. Nakamura backs Black into the ropes. Nakamura is trying to play mind games with Black. Nakamura avoids a RoundHouse Kick. Nakamura tells Black to bring it. Black ducks multiple clotheslines from Nakamura. Black slips over Nakamura’s back. Black stops Nakamura in his tracks. Black with a deep arm-drag. Black applies an arm-bar. Black tags in Ricochet. Black drop toe holds Nakamura into a Sliding Dropkick from Ricochet for a one count. Ricochet applies a wrist lock. Nakamura kicks the injured left knee of Ricochet. Nakamura tags in Rusev. Rusev repeatedly stomps on Ricochet’s chest. Rusev with a straight right hand. Rusev and Nakamura are cutting the ring in half. Nakamura kicks Ricochet in the chest. Nakamura applies a front face lock. Nakamura with clubbing knee smashes. Nakamura tags in Rusev. Rowan responds with a Shoulder Tackle. Kofi tags in Owens. Owens is throwing haymakers at Rowan. Rowan drops Owens with a shoulder tackle. Rowan wants all the smoke. Owens kicks Rowan in the gut.
