First Match: Drew McIntyre vs. Dolph Ziggler in a Steel Cage Match 

Ziggler is looking to escape the cage. McIntyre goes for a PowerBomb, but Ziggler blocks it. Ziggler continues to scale the cage. McIntyre drops Ziggler with a knife edge chop. McIntyre with a Delayed Vertical Suplex. McIntyre talks smack to Ziggler. Ziggler is throwing haymakers at McIntyre. McIntyre delivers a thunderous chop in the corner. McIntyre calls Ziggler an idiot. Ziggler kicks McIntyre in the face. Ziggler with a Flying DDT. Ziggler and McIntyre are trading back and forth shots. Ziggler kicks the left knee of McIntyre. Ziggler goes for a SuperKick, but McIntyre counters with The Glasgow Kiss.

Ziggler stops McIntyre in his tracks. Ziggler repeatedly drives McIntyre face first into the steel. Ziggler dumps McIntyre crotch first on the top rope. McIntyre starts paint brushing Ziggler. Finn Balor is watching the match from the backstage area. Ziggler goes for a Tornado DDT, but McIntyre blocks it. Ziggler sends McIntyre shoulder first into the turnbuckles. Ziggler connects with The Famouser for a two count. McIntyre decks Ziggler with a back elbow smash. McIntyre goes for The Reverse Alabama Slam, but Ziggler rolls him over for a two count.

Ziggler starts building momentum. Ziggler SuperKicks McIntyre for a two count. Ziggler crawls towards the cage door. Ziggler HeadButts McIntyre. McIntyre with clubbing blows to Ziggler’s back. Ziggler nails McIntyre with the cage door. McIntyre again kicks out of The Famouser. McIntyre pulls Ziggler back into the cage. McIntyre with a SuperPlex. McIntyre tells Ziggler to bring it. McIntyre throws Ziggler into the cage. Ziggler hits The Zig Zag for a two count. Ziggler goes for a SuperKick, but McIntyre counters with Two ClayMore Kicks to pickup the victory.

WWE Superstars New Years Resolutions 

– Drew McIntyre has his eyes set on winning the 2019 Men’s Royal Rumble Match.

– Finn Balor’s goal for 2019 is to become the Universal Champion.

– Ember Moon will show why she’s the Shenom in the 2019 Women’s Royal Rumble Match.

– Viktor of The Ascension wants to bring back The Fashion Files.

– 2019 will be the year of The Lucha House Party.

– Drake Maverick says that The Authors Of Pain will be more brutal and dominant in 2019.

– The Riott Squad won’t be changing for anybody. They are here to apply pressure.

– Zack Ryder wants more matches on Monday Night Raw to collect all the new WWE action figures.

– No Way Jose wants everyone to live in the moment.

Seth Rollins, Triple H and Shane McMahon In-Ring Segment: 

Rollins is not too big on New Year’s Resolutions because life moves so fast. Every Monday is like a new year and every day is a chance for a fresh start. Rollins is not going to wait for the ball to drop in Time Square, he wants to do things right now. He has an automatic intercontinental title rematch with Dean Ambrose and he wants it right now. Triple H comes out to interrupt Rollins. It’s been awhile since HHH and Rollins shared the same ring. Rollins said something interesting. He mentioned a fresh start. A fresh start to do anything he wants to do. It has never been more true than right now. Nothing is going to be handed to anyone. There is no automatic anything. Rollins automatic rematch is not going to happen tonight.

HHH is not even sure if Rollins deserves a rematch. He takes no pleasure in saying that because he was Rollins most vocal supporter. Rollins says that HHH only supported him because he was his puppet. That’s not the case because Rollins made him believe in him. He took everything he wanted. For a brief moment, when HHH didn’t believe, Rollins took him to WrestleMania and kicked his ass until he believed in him again. Where is that guy? The guy who took what he wanted. All he sees here is a shell of a guy he used to see here asking for stuff.

Rollins is not asking for anything. Has HHH been watching this show for the last 12 months?  Rollins has been carrying Raw on his back for the entire year. While Brock was in Saskatchewan doing what he wants, Rollins was in the ring every week having classics with Finn Balor, Dolph Ziggler, and even Mojo Rawley. Rollins is glad that HHH is not handing out things. He wants to earn it. Do you want that ruthless bastard, that soulless guy who wanted everything? That is exactly what HHH wants.

He wants Rollins to burn it all down, starting with Bobby Lashley. Rollins will take everything that Lashley has to give and then he will take everything that Dean Ambrose has. He will burn down Brock Lesnar if he gets in his way. Rollins would even burn down the entire McMahon family if HHH got in his way. Shane McMahon is trying to play peacemaker. HHH should be cautious before Rollins truly burns this entire place down. Rollins should get ready for his match against Bobby Lashley. Shane needs to clear because there will be a battle royal starting next.

Bayley and Liv Morgan will start things off. Bayley with a Lou Thez Press. Bayley transitions into a ground and pound attack. Complete slugfest in the center of the ring. Morgan pulls Bayley down to the mat. Morgan tags in Logan. Logan kicks Bayley in the gut. Bayley ducks a double clothesline from The Riott Squad. Sasha made a blind tag. Bayley drops The Riott Squad with a Double Crossbody Block. Sasha follows that with a Running Meteora for a one count. Sasha bounces Logan’s head on the top turnbuckle pad. Sasha repeatedly stomps on Logan’s chest. Sasha is choking Logan with her boot. Logan with a forearm smash. Logan whips Sasha to the corner. Sasha side steps Logan into the turnbuckles. Rollins dropkicks Lashley into the turnbuckles. Rollins with a flurry of haymakers in the corner. Lashley with a waist lock takedown. Lashley bounces Rollins head on the top turnbuckle pad. Lashley with a pair of haymakers. Lashley drives his shoulders into the midsection of Rollins. Lashley with a Seated Senton. Lashley goes for a Belly to Back Suplex, but Rollins lands back on his feet. Rollins with a chop/haymaker combination. Lashley reverses out of the irish whip from Rollins. Rollins dropkicks Lashley. Rollins kicks Lashley out of the ring. Rollins with a SlingShot Crossbody Block. Rollins throws Lashley back into the ring. Lio Rush starts running interference.

Rollins goes for a SpringBoard Clothesline, but Lashley counters with a FlatLiner for a two count. Lashley with clubbing elbow smashes. Lashley is applying pressure to the neck of Rollins. Rollins finally clotheslines Rush on the floor. Rollins dumps Rush rib first on the barricade. Lashley attacks Rollins from behind. Rollins nails Lashley with a steel chair which causes the disqualification. After the match, Rollins destroys Lashley and Rush with the chair. Rollins plants Rush with The Blackout

Fifth Match: Jinder Mahal & The Singh Brothers vs. Rhyno & Heath Slater in a Three on Two Handicap Match 

Mahal and Slater will start things off. Collar and Elbow Tie Up. Slater backs Mahal into the turnbuckles. The referee forces a clean break. SHANTI !! Slater ducks a clothesline from Mahal. Slater kicks Mahal in the gut. Slater with a flurry of jabs. Slater kicks Mahal in the chest. Mahal clotheslines Slater. Mahal drives his knee into the back of Slater. Mahal with clubbing shoulder blocks in the corner. The Singh Brothers are double teaming Slater.
