Tommaso Ciampa, The Velveteen Dream and Nikki Cross In-Ring Segment:
The greatest sports entertainer of all time now has the greatest entrance music of all time. If you want to know the best thing about it, it’s that it has brought silence to the sheep. In every walk, there is always one who tries to break away from the pack and craves attention. One who needs to be different. That one is the Velveteen Dream. Dream has the champ’s attention, but he’s gone about it the wrong wrong way. When you start pointing fingers and make accusations. When you stick your nose into things that are not your business. Velveteen Dream comes out to interrupt Ciampa.
All of this is amusing to the Velveteen Dream. Especially the part about Ciampa being the greatest sports entertainer of all time. Since we are on the subject, the Dream does not appreciate his threats. The Dream can only assume because Ciampa thinks he’s a bad man. The Dream believes that the NXT Championship deserves a true experience, not a guilt trip from an angry bald man hiding behind his insecurities. Ciampa may be an angry little bald man, but he has a shiny shiny shiny title belt. Ciampa gets it. The Dream wants what the champ has. You want the main event, the spotlight, and his NXT Title.
Ciampa doesn’t think The Dream believes the words that comes out of his mouth. He only wants attention. Now that everyone is listening, be a man and admit it. Maybe he’s just not tough enough. Not only is The Dream tough enough, he is man enough. Dream is more man than Ciampa can handle. If you want to find that out, give Dream a moment with him and the NXT Championship. Nikki Cross makes her way to the ring. Nikki throws her jacket down in the ring. Nikki stares at CIampa and Dream. Cross claims that she knows what Dream and Cimapa did.
