Renee Young, Daniel Bryan and Big Cass In-Ring Segment:
Renee Young is interviewing Daniel Bryan. Renee goes over Bryan’s timeline since he return to in-ring competition. Renee asks Bryan how’s he coping with losing to Rusev last week? Bryan doesn’t like losing any more than anyone else, but when he came back, he was just happy to be back doing what he loves. Now, though, it’s not enough to be back, he wants to be on top, and he’ll have to scratch, fight, and claw every step of the way, but he will become the WWE Champion. Big Cass comes out to interrupt Bryan.
Cass has been in the back listening to Bryan run his mouth, and he’s sick of it. Bryan may have all these people fooled, but not him. He might be an inspirational story, and feed the fans nothing but crap, but he knows the real truth. Rusev was Bryan’s first major setback since returning to the ring according to Renee, but Cass. disagrees. He’s the reason why Bryan lost to Rusev. Cass will continue to make sure Bryan never achieves his aspirations again. Cass is man enough to admit he lost at Backlash.
Cass didn’t tap out because he was in pain, it’s because he wanted to get right back up and beat the holy hell out of him again, and that’s what he did. Bryan won’t be able to do anything in WWE without a seven foot shadow following him around. Bryan lasted 75 minutes in the Greatest Royal Rumble, but what happened when he got in the ring? Oh, that’s right, he big booted him in the face and eliminated him, proving again that Daniel Bryan is a loser. Bryan should’ve stayed retired, and be the stay at home dad and while Brie wears the pants in the family. Bryan and Cass starts brawling. Bryan attacks the injured knee of Cass. Bryan repeatedly slams Cass’s leg on the steel ring post.
