First Match: The Authors of Pain w/Paul Ellering vs. Roderick Strong & Pete Dunne In The Finals Of The 2018 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament 

Strong and Akam will start things off. Akam with a Big Biel Throw to Strong. AOP are immediately double teaming Strong. Strong blasts Rezar with a knife edge chop. Strong ducks a clothesline from Rezar. Rezar tells Strong to bring it. Strong tags in Dunne. Collar and Elbow Tie Up. Rezar applies a front facelock. Rezar tags in Akam. Akam attacks the midsection of Dunne. Akam with a Knee Lift to Dunne. Akam transitions into a ground and pound attack. Akam applies a side headlock. Akam is absolutely demolishing Dunne in the corner. Akam tags in Rezar.

Rezar stomps on Dunne’s chest. Rezar with a Clubbing Forearm across the back of Dunne for a two count. Rezar with a Rushing Knee Strike to Dunne. AOP are cutting the ring in half. Akam with the cover for a two count. Dunne is trying to negate the tandem offense from AOP. AOP connects with a Back Breaker/Diving Foot Stomp for a two count. Rezar goes back to the ground and pound attack. More frequent tags from AOP. Dunne snaps the fingers of Akam. Dunne with a Step Up Enzuigiri. Dunne tags in Strong.

Strong with a series of knife edge chops. Strong decks Rezar with a Discus Back Elbow Smash. Strong knocks Akam off the ring apron. Strong with a Step Up Enzuigiri of his own to Rezar. Strong is dishing out running forearm strikes. Strong dropkicks Rezar. Strong follows that with a Wrecking Ball Dropkick. Strong levels Rezar with a Jumping Knee Strike. Strong connects with The Olympic Slam for a two count. Strong and Dunne are double teaming Rezar.

Dunne lands a Flying Double Foot Stomp for a two count. Dunne locks in the Triangle Choke. Rezar tags in Akam. AOP with a Neck Breaker/SitOut PowerBomb Combination for a two count. Strong throws Rezar out of the ring. Dunne dives over Akam. Strong and Dunne hits their Bitter End/End Of Heart Ache Combination for a two count. Strong and Dunne with Stereo Jumping Knee Strikes to AOP. AOP responds with a Big Boot/Lariat Combination. The Undisputed Era storms into the ring to attack both tag teams. The referee obviously calls for the bell.

Match Result: Double Disqualification 

– William Regal announces that The Undisputed Era will take on The Authors of Pain, Roderick Strong and Pete Dunne in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match At NXT TakeOver New Orleans For The 2018 Dusty Classic Trophy and The WWE NXT Tag Team Championship.

Second Match: Kairi Sane vs. Vanessa Bourne 

Collar and Elbow Tie Up. Bourne with a waist lock takedown to Sane. Bourne tells Sane to bring it. Test of strength in the center of the ring. Bourne stomps on Sane’s foot. Sane with an arm-drag takedown to Bourne. Sane rolls Bourne over for a one count. Sane follows that with a Jack Knife Cover for a two count. Bourne connects with a Flap Jack. Bourne delivers multiple blows across the back of Sane.

Bourne with the cover for a one count. Bourne drives Sane’s head to the bottom turnbuckle. Bourne with a matchbook cover for a two count. Bourne applies a rear chin lock. Sane ducks a clothesline from Bourne. Sane Spears Bourne. Sane rocks Bourne with The Sliding D. Sane with a Flying Forearm Smash for a two count. Sane gets Bourne tied in the tree of woe. Sane with a Flying Double Foot Stomp to Bourne. Sane lands The Insane Elbow to pickup the victory.
