First Match: Rusev & Lana (Global Citizen) vs. Elias & Bayley (Americares) in a First Round Match in the Inaugural WWE Mixed Match Challenge Tournament 

Rusev starts singing the Lana song before the bell rings. Carmella & Big E are watching the match from the backstage area. Lana and Bayley will start things off. Collar and Elbow Tie Up. Bayley with a side headlock takeover to Lana. Lana responds with a HeadScissors Leg Lock. Following a snap mare takeover, Bayley delivers a Sliding Lariat for a two count. Lana backs herself in the corner. Rusev is trying to pump up Lana. Lana Spears Bayley. Lana transitions into a ground and pound attack.

Lana drops Bayley with The Machka Kick. Bayley bodyslams Lana. Lana rolls herself out of the ring. Lana grabs the guitar. Rusev is trying to calm Lana down. Rusev dumps Elias guitar on the floor. Elias proceeds to tune the guitar. Elias tags himself in. Collar and Elbow Tie Up. Rusev backs Elias into the turnbuckles. Elias turns Rusev over. It’s Elias Day not Rusev Day. Rusev goes for a BodySlam, but Elias lands back on his feet. Elias kicks Rusev in the gut. Elias drops Rusev with a Back Elbow Strike for a one count. Elias stomps on Rusev chest. Following a snap mare takeover, Elias delivers a Knee Drop for a one count.

Rusev reverses out of the irish whip. Rusev attacks the injured ribs of Elias. Rusev decks Elias with a Leg Lariat. Rusev with a Running Shoulder Block to Elias. Rusev is mauling Elias in the corner. Elias kicks Rusev in the jaw. Rusev responds with The Machka Kick. Rusev stomps on Elias back. Rusev goes for The Accolade, but Elias blocks it. Elias tags in Bayley. Lana with a Running Shoulder Block to Bayley. Lana connects with The X-Factor for a two count. Lana is applying pressure to the back of Bayley’s neck.

Lana with a Running Double Knee Strike for a two count. Lana applies a Half Nelson Chin Lock. Bayley regains momentum with two axe handle strikes. Bayley hits The Middle Rope Stunner. Bayley follows that with a Corner Spear. Bayley with a Leaping Back Elbow Strike. Bayley connects with an Exploder Suplex for a two count. Bayley starts teeing off on Lana in the corner. Elias drops Rusev with a Jumping Knee Strike. Bayley goes for The Avalanche Bayley to Belly, but Lana blocks it. Lana drives Bayley’s face to the top turnbuckle pad to pickup the victory.

Winner: Rusev & Lana (Global Citizen) via Pinfall
