Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, Kurt Angle, Jason Jordan and Braun Strowman In-Ring Segment: 

Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the A Show, Monday Night Raw. Shane McMahon knew that Smackdown didn’t have a chance and it was written all over his face. Stephanie will always be above her brother because she knows how to win at the end of the day. Kurt Angle’s job as Raw General Manager is secured. Stephanie brings out the man who was responsible for Team Raw’s victory at Survivor Series, her husband, Triple H.

Kurt Angle quickly makes his way to the ring. This is not Kurt Angle the General Manager talking to HHH, it’s the Olympic Gold Medalist and WWE Hall of Famer speaking. If HHH attacks him from behind again, he can take this job and shove it. Angle will be coming for HHH. Stephanie reminds Angle that he’s talking to the COO of WWE. Don’t put your career in jeopardy again.

Jason Jordan joins the conversation. Angle tells Jordan to calm down. Jordan wants to fight HHH tonight.  Angle doesn’t have the authority to make that match. Is HHH a coward? In the mood her husband is in tonight, HHH will tear Jordan apart and make a mockery of him. Braun Strowman gets up in HHH’s grill. HHH heads out of the ring. Stephanie says that Jordan will take on Braun Strowman later on tonight. 

First Match: Finn Balor vs. Samoa Joe 

Joe starts things off with a series of left jabs. Joe drives his knee to the midsection of Balor. Joe deliver a knife edge chop. Balor responds with a dropkick. Balor is teeing off on Joe. Joe explodes out of the corner with a Running Elbow Strike. Joe follows that with Mongolian Chops. Joe applies a Death Grip. Joe with a clubbing blow to the back of Balor. Joe kicks Balor in the gut. Balor with a Leaping Enzuigiri that sends Joe crashing to the outside. Balor lands a SomerSault Plancha. Balor goes for the SlingBlade, but Joe counters with a Over Head Belly to Belly Suplex.

Coming out of the commercial break, Joe has Balor in a Bow and Arrow Stretch. Joe decks Balor with a Back Elbow Strike. Joe follows that with the CSS Enzuigiri. Joe continues to apply pressure to the back of Balor’s neck. Balor tries to create separation with a Jaw Breaker. Joe fires off a big forearm smash. Balor responds with the Over Head Kick. Balor with an enzuigiri from the ring apron. Balor levels Joe with the Basement Dropkick. Balor sends Joe out of the ring.

Balor with a Wrecking Ball Dropkick to Joe. Balor goes for the PK, but Joe drives Balor’s knee to the aporn. Joe lands a Suicide Dive. Joe rolls Balor into the ring. Joe connects with a STO for a two count. Joe with a big throat punch to Balor. Balor fires back with a SlingBlade. Balor goes for the ShotGun Dropkick, but Joe counters with the Running Senton for a two count. Joe gets Balor trapped in the Coquina Clutch. Balor escapes and hits the Double Foot Stomp. Balor with the ShotGun Dropkick. Joe has Balor perched on the top turnbuckle. Joe goes back to the Coquina Clutch to pickup the victory as Balor passes out.

Winner: Samoa Joe via Submission 

Second Match: Asuka vs. Dana Brooke 

Asuka kicks Brooke in the shoulder. Askua blocks a leg lariat from Brooke. Brooke with a boot to the midsection of Asuka. Asuka connects with the wrist lock takeover. Asuka repeatedly kicks Brooke in the back. Asuka applies an Abdominal Stretch in between the ropes.

Asuka with a Running Hip Attack that knocks Brooke off the ring apron. Brooke is showing her frustration on the outside. Asuka lightly kicks Brooke in the face. Brooke drives Asuka’s face to the middle rope. Brooke pats Asuka on the head. Brooke proceeds to slap Asuka. Asuka responds with a spinning back fist. Asuka decks Brooke with the Spin Kick to pickup the victory.

Winner: Asuka via Pinfall 

Miz TV with Special Guest: The Shield

Miz applauds Baron Corbin on the biggest victory of his career. Miz has more important things to do than deal with Baron Corbin. Miz brings out the man who led the Shield’s victory over The New Day, Roman Reigns. Reigns comes down to the ring with his brothers in arms, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. Miz says that The Shield weren’t booked for Miz TV.  Ambrose says that The Shield are feeling pretty good. At Survivor Series, The Hounds of Justice proved that they’re the most dominant three man team in WWE history.

It’s just like old times. There’s one thing that’s bothering Miz. He has yet to get his props for being the man that sparked the reunion of The Shield. Reigns says that Miz should thank the Houston crowd who’s chanting “Miz Is Awesome.”  Miz refuses to respond to the crowd’s chants. The Shield are ungrateful. If anyone is ungrateful, it’s the guy who lost last night.

Miz reminds everybody that he’s the only champion standing in the ring. It’s only a matter of time that Rollins & Ambrose gets back their Raw Tag Team Titles. Reigns wants to a chance at the Intercontinental Championship. The Houston crowd wants to see that match.  Bo Dallas says The Shield has to go through The MizTourage first.  Reigns decks Bo Dallas with a right hand. Miz hightails out of the ring. Rollins lands a HammerLock V-Trigger to Axel. Ambrose follows that with Dirty Deeds. The Shield plants Dallas with The Cerberus PowerBomb. 

Third Match: Dean Ambrose w/Seth Rollins vs. Sheamus w/Cesaro 

Collar and Elbow Tie Up. Sheamus backs Ambrose into the turnbuckles. Sheamus floats over into a front facelock. Ambrose applies a hammer lock. Sheamus responds with a side headlock. Sheamus goes for the Tilt-A-Whirl PowerSlam, but Ambrose counters with a deep arm drag. Ambrose applies an arm-bar. Sheamus drives his knee to the midsection of Ambrose. Sheamus with a Running Knee Drop to Ambrose. Ambrose and Sheamus are trading back and forth shots. Ambrose whips Sheamus head off the top rope. Sheamus kicks Ambrose in the chest. Sheamus drops Ambrose with a Big Boot.

Coming out of the commercial break, Sheamus connects with a SitOut PowerBomb for a two count. Sheamus applies an arm-bar. Sheamus clotheslines Ambrose. Sheamus with a Front PowerSlam for a two count. Sheamus kicks Ambrose in the ribs. Sheamus is taunting the Houston Crowd. Sheamus stomps on Ambrose back. Sheamus goes for a Vertical Suplex, but Ambrose lands back on his feet. Ambrose slaps Sheamus in the face. Ambrose sends Sheamus shoulder first to the steel ring post.

Ambrose kicks Sheamus in the gut. Ambrose goes for the Dirty Deeds, but Sheamus blocks it. Ambrose with back to back lariats to Sheamus. Sheamus regains momentum with a Leaping Front Kick. Ambrose with a forearm smash that sends Sheamus crashing to the outside. Sheamus decks Ambrose with a haymaker in mid-air. Ambrose clotheslines Sheamus over the top rope.

Ambrose lands a Suicide Dive. Ambrose rolls Sheamus back into the ring. Cesaro attacks Rollins from behind. Sheamus rolls Ambrose over for a two count. Ambrose with a drop toe hold that sends Sheamus face first to the middle rope. Cesaro hops on the ring apron to distract Ambrose. Sheamus connects with the Avalanche Rolling Senton for a two count. Sheamus sets up for the Brogue Kick. Rollins takes out Cesaro with the Suicide Dive. Ambrose plants Sheamus with Dirty Deeds to pickup the victory.

Winner: Dean Ambrose via Pinfall 

Alexa Bliss, Mickie James, Bayley, Alicia Fox and Sasha Banks In-Ring Segment: 

Fourth Match: Mickie James vs. Bayley vs. Alicia Fox vs. Sasha Banks in a Fatal Four Way Match. The Winner Will Become The Number One Contender To The WWE Raw Women’s Championship 

Mickie and Fox are exchanging blows on the outside. Bayley rolls Sasha over for a two count. Sasha with a forearm smash to Bayley. Bayley drives Sasha back first into the turnbuckles. Sasha kicks Bayley in the chest. Bayley responds with a Belly to Back Suplex. Mickie kicks Bayley in the back. Fox dropkicks Mickie. Fox goes for the Scissors Kick, but Sasha counters with the Bank Statement.

Bayley breaks up the submission attempt. Sasha sends Bayley out of the ring. Mickie connects with a neck breaker for a two count. Mickie and Sasha are knocked down after a double clothesline. Paige appears on the stage.

Paige apologizes for interrupting the match. Paige says that she’s back. Paige didn’t come back alone. Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose from WWE NXT attacks Mickie and Sasha from behind. Deville and Rose are double teaming Sasha. Paige SuperKicks Bayley. Fox runs to the backstage area. Rose connects with a Double UnderHook Michinoku Driver to Bayley. Paige plants Bayley with the RamPaige.

Match Result: No Contest 

Fifth Match: Braun Strowman vs. Jason Jordan 

Jordan slaps Strowman in the face. Jordan heads to the outside. Strowman launches Jordan to the other side of the ring. Jordan sides steps Strowman into the turnbuckles. Strowman connects with the Biel Throw. Strowman follows that with a Body Avalanche. Strowman goes for the Running PowerSlam, but Jordan lands back on his feet. Jordan is favoring his injured knee. Kane chopblocks Strowman to cause the disqualification. Kane is mauling Strowman around the ringside area. Kane rams a steel chair across the throat of Strowman.

Winner: Braun Strowman via Disqualification 

Sixth Match: Rich Swann, Cedric Alexander, Mustafa Ali and Akira Tozawa vs. Drew Gulak, Noam Dar, Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari w/Enzo Amore 

Gulak and Swann starts things off with a rear chin lock. Swann gets back to a vertical base. Gulak drops Swann with a shoulder tackle. Gulak rolls Swann over for a two count. Gulak leapfrogs over Swann. Swann SomerSaults over Gulak. Swann connects with a dropkick. Swann goes for Rolling Thunder, but Enzo drags Gulak out of the ring. Gulak with the lateral press for a two count. Double Suplex by Daivari and Gulak. Daivari applies a rear chin lock.

Daivari clotheslines Swann. Daivari drags Swann to the corner. Daivari tags in Dar. Swann negates the tandem offense from Daivari and Dar. Swann with an enzuigiri to Nese. Swann is distracted by Enzo. Swann makes the hot tag to Alexander. Alexander with a SpringBoard Clothesline to Dar. Alexander sends Gulak out of the ring. Tozawa lays out Gulak with a Suicide Dive. Dar uppercuts Alexander. Ali makes the blind tag. Alexander delivers a HandSpring RoundHouse Kick to Dar. Alexander follows that with the Lumbar Check to Nese. Ali lands the 054 to pickup the victory.

Winner: Rich Swann, Cedric Alexander, Mustafa Ali and Akira Tozawa via Pinfall 

Seventh Match: The Miz (c) vs. Roman Reigns For The WWE Intercontinental Championship 

Miz is chilling on the outside. Reigns chases Miz around the ringside area. Reigns ducks a clothesline from Miz. Reigns drops Miz with a clubbing haymaker. Miz whips Reigns face off the top rope. Miz connects with a back breaker. Miz goes for a neck breaker, but Reigns blocks it. Reigns with the SitOut PowerBomb for a two count. Coming out of the commercial break, Reigns fires up with a series of clotheslines. Reigns drops Miz with a Big Boot. Reigns sets up for the SuperMan Punch. Miz wisely heads to the outside. Miz kicks Reigns in the gut. Miz connects with a DDT on the floor. Reigns gets back into the ring at the count of ten.

Miz delivers another DDT for a two count. Miz applies a rear chin lock. Reigns gets back to a vertical base. Reigns uppercuts Miz. Miz responds with the Back/Neck Breaker Combination for a two count. Miz is yelling at the referee. Miz with a Running Leg Lariat to the back of Reigns head. Miz side steps Reigns into the turnbuckles. Miz with a flurry of corner dropkicks to Reigns. Miz rolls Reigns over for a two count. Reigns kicks Miz in the jaw. Miz walks into a right hand from Reigns. Miz goes for the Awesome Clothesline, but Reigns ducks out of the way. Miz drops Reigns with a Knee Lift.

Miz is mauling Reigns with IT Kicks! Miz goes for the Leg Lariat, but Reigns counters with the Samoan Drop for a two count. Reigns fights out of the Skull Crushing Finale position. Miz takes out the legs of Reigns in mid-air. Miz levels Reigns with a Leg Lariat for a two count. Miz repeatedly stomps on Reigns back. Miz is choking Reigns with his boot. Miz connects with the Awesome Clothesline. Reigns responds with a SuperMan Punch in mid-air for a two count. The Bar hops on the ring apron to distract Reigns. The Skull Crushing Finale only gets a two count. Ambrose and Rollins starts brawling with The Bar. Reigns plants Miz with the Spear to pickup the victory.

Winner: New WWE Intercontinental Champion, Roman Reigns via Pinfall
