Asuka & Ember Moon’s NXT TakeOver Brooklyn III Contract Signing:
Ember says that Asuka has had ncredible journey in NXT. She’s one of the most dominant champions to set foot in NXT or the WWE. Asuka has beaten the best on Raw, Smackdown, and NXT. Her winning streak has surpassed Goldberg. One thing sticks out in that incredible journey is that Asuka has taken a shortcut with only one person, Ember Moon. In NXT TakeOver Orlando, Asuka had to push a referee in Ember to win. Then Ember gets injured and she’s unable to compete at NXT Takeover Chicago.
Asuka made the biggest mistake of her life. Ember refuses to be a victim. She’s faster and stronger than she has ever been. It’s because of all of Asuka short cuts. This is Ember’s way of saying thank you. At Takeover Brooklyn, Ember will end Asuka’s reign of dominance. Ember Moon will become the next NXT Women’s Champion. Ember signs the contract. The Full Sail Crowd continues to chant for Asuka. William Regal makes the match official. Asuka is screaming at Ember in Japanese.
First Match: Lars Sullivan & Chris Silvio vs. The Street Profits
Dawkins will start things off with a big haymaker to Silvio. Montez Ford is celebrating with the crowd. Dawkins scoop slams Silvio. Dawkins tags in Ford. The Street Profits connects with their Basement Dropkick/Running Splash combination. Silvio lands a big boot in the corner. Ford is cutting the ring in half.
Ford shoves Sullivan. Ford lands a european uppercut. Ford tags in Dawkins. Dawkins connects with a 360 Stinger Splash. Dawkins plants Silvio with a Pop Up SpineBuster. Ford follows that with a Frog Splash to pickup the victory. After the match, Lars Sullivan snaps. Sullivan drags Silvio out of the Full Sail Arena. Sullivan whips Silvio back first into a steel guard rail. Sullivan proceeds to ChokeSlam Silvio into a Dumpster.
Winner: The Street Profits via Pinfall
Second Match: Billie Kay w/Peyton Royce vs. Ruby Riot
Billie dodges a collar and elbow attempt from Ruby. Billie taunts Ruby. Ruby with a O’Connor Roll for a one count. Ruby follows that with a Backslide for another one count. Ruby connects with an Oklahoma Roll. Ruby proceeds to mock The Iconic Duo. Ruby ducks a clothesline from Billie. Ruby sunset flips Billie over into a one count. Billie drops Ruby with a Leg Lariat. Billie follows that with a Discus Clothesline for a two count.
Billie repeatedly stomps on Ruby’s chest in the corner. Ruby lands a series of knife edge chops. Billie plants Ruby with the Inverted Stomp Facebreaker for a two count. Billie lands a clubbing blow to the back of Ruby. Billie connects with a Northern Lights Suplex. Billie applies a SurfBoard Submission Hold. Ruby escapes and lands a flurry of rapid fire kicks. Ruby dropkicks Billie. Ruby with a Head Scissors Driver that sends Billie face first into the middle turnbuckle. Ruby knocks Peyton Royce off the ring apron. Ruby drops Billie with the Over Head Kick.
Winner: Ruby Riot via Pinfall
Third Match: Roderick Strong vs. Drew McIntyre
Collar and elbow tie up. McIntyre backs Strong into the corner. This leads to a clean break. McIntyre connects with a waist lock takedown. Strong applies a side headlock. Strong dives over McIntyre. Strong drops McIntyre with a leg lariat for a one count. McIntyre responds with a Boot to the midsection of Strong. McIntyre connects with a Dead Lift Suplex. McIntyre goes for another Vertical Suplex, but Strong lands back on his feet. Strong dropkicks McIntyre. Strong with a Basement Dropkick that sends McIntyre crashing to the outside. Strong and McIntyre are trading back and forth shots on the outside. Strong drives McIntyre back first into the apron. McIntyre launches Strong into the steel ring post. Strong and McIntyre are fighting for position on the apron. Strong connects with a belly to back suplex on the apron. Strong is mauling McIntyre in the corner.
Strong repeatedly stomps on McIntyre’s chest. Strong plants McIntyre with a back breaker for a two count. Strong applies a Kneeling Abdominal Stretch. McIntyre fights back to a vertical base. Strong fires off more forearm strikes in the corner. Strong follows that with a knee strike. Strong stomps on McIntyre’s wrist. Strong continues to ground McIntyre in the middle of the ring. Strong kicks McIntyre in the chest. McIntyre responds with a clothesline. Strong with a Double Kick to McIntyre. McIntyre connects with a Over Head Belly to Belly Suplex.
Following a forearm/chop exchange, McIntyre is mauling Strong in the corner. McIntyre drops Strong with a Flying Lariat. McIntyre goes for the Future Shock DDT, but Strong blocks it. McIntyre connects with a Bicycle Kick. McIntyre plants Strong with a Reverse Alabama Slam for a two count. McIntyre goes for the Claymore, but Strong counters with a leaping knee strike. Strong lands a nasty back breaker for a two count. Strong heads to the top turnbuckle. McIntyre HeadButts Strong. McIntyre goes for a SuperPlex, but Strong blocks it. McIntyre gets tied in the tree of woe. Bobby Roode attacks Strong from behind to cause the disqualification. Roode repeatedly stomps on McIntyre’s chest. Roode goes into a ground and pound attack. Roode whips Strong into the steel ring steps. Roode plants McIntyre with the Glorious DDT.
Winner: Roderick Strong via Disqualification
