Nagata and Makabe are trading back and forth shots. Makabe clotheslines Nagata. Nagata responds with a Big Boot. Nagata drags Makabe to the corner. Taguchi tags himself in. Makabe continues to brawl with Nagata after the tag was made. Nagata tags in Kawato. Kawato fires off a series of rapid fire forearms. Taguchi responds with a knee lift. Kawato lands two deep arm-drags. Kawato goes for another arm-drag, but Taguchi ducks out of the way. Taguchi drops Kawato with a Hip Attack for a two count. Taguchi lands a snap mare takeover. Taguchi repeatedly drives his knee to the back of Kawato. Taguchi goes for the cover, but Taguchi kicks out at two. Taguchi tags in Makabe.

Makabe bodyslams Kawato. Makabe knocks Nagata off the ring apron. The referee has to get Nagata out of the ring. Makabe lands another Bodyslam. Makabe starts kicking Kawato in the face. Third Match: Chase Owens, Yujiro Takahashi and Bad Luck Fale vs. Katsuya Kitamura, Tomoyuki Oka and Kota Ibushi 

Fale and Ibushi will start things off. Ibushi ducks a clothesline from Fale. Ibushi lands a series of buzzsaw kicks to the chest of Fale. Ibushi hits Fale in the jaw. Ibushi dodges more strikes from Fale. Ibushi connects with his lightning quick offense. Ibushi lands a spinning heel kick to the midsection of Fale. Ibushi drops Fale with another buzzsaw kick. Ibushi follows that with the Standing MoonSault for a one count. Kitamura and Takahashi are tagged in. There’s a flexing contest in the middle of the ring. Owens attacks Kitamura from behind. Kitamura drops Takahashi and Owens with a Double Shoulder Block. Kitamura goes for a Double Vertical Suplex, but Takahashi and Owens blocks it. Owens with a Thrust Kick to the midsection of Kitamura. Fourth Match: Bushi & Tetsuya Naito vs. Gedo & Tomohiro Ishii 

Ishii and Naito will start things off. Naito and Ishii are trading back and forth forearms. Naito slaps Ishii in the face. Ishii responds with more forearm strikes. Naito rakes the eyes of Ishii. Naito connects with a shoulder block. Naito follows that with a deep arm-drag. Ishii drops Naito with a shoulder tackle. Naito responds with a back elbow strike. Naito goes for a Basement Dropkick, but Ishii ducks out of the way. Naito connects with a hip toss. Naito ducks a clothesline from Ishii. Bushi and Gedo are tagged in. Gedo refuses to shake Bushi’s hand. Gedo hugs the referee. Bushi kicks the referee in the back.

Hashi is talking smack to Tanahashi before the bell rings. Finlay and Goto will start things off. Collar and elbow tie up. Finlay applies a side headlock. Goto reverses the hold. Goto drops Finlay with a shoulder tackle. Goto drives his elbow to the back of Finlay. Goto side steps Finlay into the corner. Finlay drops Goto with a Flying European Uppercut for a two count. Finlay sets up for the Rolling Senton, but Goto gets back on his feet. Hashi knocks Tanahashi off the ring apron. Goto repeatedly stomps on Finlay’s chest in the corner. Goto tags in Hashi. Hashi bodyslams Finlay for a one count. Hashi drives Finlay’s face into the boot of Goto. Hashi tags in Goto.

Hashi is blocking Tanahashi from the ring. Goto locks in the Single Leg Boston Crab. Goto and Hashi are cutting the ring in half. Hashi drives his elbow to the back of Finlay. Robinson applies a waist lock. Tonga counters with a hammer lock. Tonga floats over into a front face lock. Robinson responds with a hammer lock. More chain grappling between both men. Robinson gets back to the vertical base. Robinson connects with the FireMan’s Carry Takeover. Robinson applies an arm-bar. Tonga responds with a leg scissors hold. Robinson connects with the side headlock takeover. Robinson follows that with a deep arm-drag. Robinson goes back to the arm-bar. Tonga drives Robinson to the corner. We have a clean breaker. Tonga blocks a Big Boot from Robinson. Tonga attacks the injured leg of Robinson. Tonga repeatedly drives his elbow to the chest of Robinson. Tonga follows that with more body shots in the corner.

Tonga connects with the Stinger Splash. Robinson starts landing some body shots. Tonga dropkicks Robinson to the corner. Tonga goes for another Stinger Splash, but Robinson counters with a Full Nelson Slam. Robinson connects with a jab/chop combination. Robinson plants Tonga with a Reverse DDT for a two count. Seventh Match: (2) Toru Yano vs. (2) Sanada in a Block B MatchUp in the G1 Climax Tournament 

Yano starts ripping off turnbuckle pads. Sanada attacks Yano from behind. Sanada hits Yano in the back with the turnbuckle pad. Sanada spill a bottle of water over Yano’s head. Yano spits into Sanada’s eyes. Yano rolls Sanada over for a two count. Sanada goes for a leapfrog, but Yano holds onto the ropes. Yano backs himself in between the ropes to create separation. Sanada gets Yano in position for the Tarantula. Yano whips Sanada sternum first into the steel guard rail. Sanada launches Yano’s tape into the crowd. Sanada rolls Yano back into the ring. Sanada stomps on Yano’s chest.

Yano rakes the eyes of Sanada. Sanada leapfrogs over Yano. Sanada dropkicks Yano. Sanada dumps Yano into the corner. Sanada goes for a MoonSault, but Yano ducks out of the way. Yano side steps Sanada into the exposed steel in the corner. Sanada goes for Skull In, but Yano counters with a inside cradle for a two count. Sanada locks in Skull In, but Yano immediately rolls himself out of the ring. Yano brings out another roll of tape. Sanada drops Yano with a SlingShot CrossBody Block to the outside. Sanada drags Yano up the ramp. Sanada starts taping Yano’s shoulders together. Sanada gets Yano trapped in the Paradise Lock which forces him to get counted out.

Eight Match: (4) EVIL vs. (4) Minoru Suzuki w/El Desperado in a Block B MatchUp in the G1 Climax Tournament 

Suzuki attacks EVIL before the bell rings. EVIL and Suzuki are trading back and forth shots on the outside. EVIL drives Suzuki back first into the steel guard rail. The fight spills into the crowd. Suzuki starts whacking EVIL with a chair. Suzuki drops EVIL with a right hand. Suzuki hits EVIL over the head with a water bottle. Suzuki is pacing around the ringside area. EVIL gets back into the ring at the count of nineteenth. Suzuki starts stabbing EVIL with a pin as the referee is distracted by El Desperado. Suzuki stomps on EVIL’s shoulder.

EVIL rakes the eyes of Suzuki. EVIL lands a Discus Lariat in to the corner. EVIL launches Desperado into the steel guard rail. EVIL wraps a chair around Suzuki’s neck. EVIL connects with the Conchairto. EVIL tosses Suzuki back into the ring. EVIL lightly kicks Suzuki in the face. Suzuki starts bending the fingers of EVIL. Suzuki gets EVIL trapped in the ArmBar. EVIL connects with a corner clothesline. Suzuki shoves the referee into EVIL. This allows Desperado to attack EVIL in the middle of the ring.

Okada attacks Kojima before the bell rings. Kojima fires off a slew of rapid fire forearms. Okada goes for the Rain Maker, but Kojima ducks out of the way. Okada lands a forearm shot across the jaw of Kojima. Kojima responds with a shoulder tackle. Kojima starts stomping on Okada’s chest. Okada places Kojima on the top turnbuckle. Okada with a Standing Dropkick that sends Kojima crashing to the outside. Okada whips Kojima back first into the steel guard rail. Okada clotheslines Kojima over the steel guard rail. Okada plants Kojima with the IEDDT on the outside. Okada starts messing with Hiroyoshi Tenzan. Kojima gets back into the ring at the count of nineteenth. Collar and elbow tie up. Omega backs Elgin into the corner. Omega slaps Elgin in the face. Omega lands a series of clubbing blows to the back of Elgin. Omega rakes the eyes of Elgin. Omega goes for a shoulder tackle, but Elgin blocks it. Elgin lands a corner clothesline. Elgin drives Omega back first into the turnbuckles. Elgin lands a knife edge chop. Elgin launches Omega to the other side of the ring. Elgin connects with a Delayed Vertical Suplex. Elgin heads to the ring apron. Omega fires off a series of haymakers.
