WWE NXT Results – June 7, 2017

First Match: Heavy Machinery vs. Lars Sullivan & Victor Andrews 

Sullivan and Knight starts things off. Sullivan locks in the Collar and Elbow Tie Up.  We got ourself a clean break. Both men continues to test their strength. Sullivan backs Knight into the corner. Knight applies a side headlock. Knight goes for a shoulder tackle, but Sullivan stands still. Sullivan clotheslines Knight. Sullivan sends Knight back first to the turnbuckles. Knight with a boot to the jaw of Sullivan.

Knight follows that with a dropkick. Sullivan plants Knight with a bodyslam. Andrews tags himself in. Knight has Andrews in a Bear Hug. Knight tags in Dozovic. Knight tosses Andrews onto Dozovic. Dozovic now has Andrews in a Bear Hug. Andrews lands a forearm smash. Dozovic responds with a Over The Head Belly to Belly Suplex. Heavy Machinery are double teaming Andrews. Knight hip tosses Andrews to the other side of the ring. Heavy Machinery plants Andrews with the Compacter to pickup the victory. After the match, Sullivan absolutely destroys Andrews.

Winner: Heavy Machinery via Pinfall 

Roderick Strong & Bobby Roode In-Ring Promo: 

Strong wants to be honest with you because the last seven or eight months have been a roller coaster ride for him. He’s in NXT, he has a beautiful fiance and baby boy at home. Strong opened up to the NXT Universe about something he’s been ashamed of because he didn’t want to be judged. Strong has been accepted with open arms and he thanks everyone. When Strong first came here, he came for one reason, the NXT Championship. Strong life has never been better but there’s one thing he wants and  the one thing he needs, the NXT Championship.

It’s no longer Roddy versus the World, it’s Roddy, Marina and Tory versus the World. That motivates him to be better and to be the WWE NXT Champion. Bobby Roode comes out to interrupt Strong. Roode is fake crying. That was such an emotional story and he was pulling on the heart strings. Strong is standing in an NXT ring in front of the NXT Universe, he must be proud. Roderick Strong winning matches, finally. He has a marginally hot fiance and his son is relatively normal so he should be proud.

Roode gets that Strong wants to be on the marquee with the champ. Diapers are expensive. Strong wants to play the Bobby Roode lottery. He spent his hard earned money and hope to hit the numbers to get out of the trailer park and move to the mansion on the hill. That’s not how it works in Bobby Roode’s NXT. Strong can’t wave a wand and get a title match. Roode says that Strong is a good hand, but he should stay in his own lane. Maybe one day, Strong’s family can take a selfie together and he can show it to his little guy and say here’s the champ and your dad. Don’t play the Bobby Roode lottery because you’re not man enough to win. Roode wishes Strong the best of luck.

Second Match: Peyton Royce w/Billie Kay vs. Sarah Logan 

Royce and Logan goes into the collar and elbow tie up. Royce drives Logan’s head to the canvas. Royce backs Logan into the corner. Royce lands a big right hand. Logan connects with a Fireman’s Carry Slam. Logan applies an arm-bar. Royce gets back to a vertical base. Royce drops Logan with a massive leg lariat for a two count. Royce is grounding Logan with the rear chin lock.

Logan goes for a quick cover for a two count. Royce connects with two back to back vertical suplex’s. Royce plants Logan with the Death Valley Driver for a two count. Royce in frustration goes into the ground and pound attack. Logan blocks a right hand Royce. Logan dropkicks Royce. Logan lands a series of knife edge chops. Logan lays out Royce with a Running Knee Strike for a two count. Royce regains momentum with the spinning back elbow. Royce lands a big knee strike. Royce plants Logan with the Fisherman’s Suplex to pickup the victory.

Winner: Peyton Royce via Pinfall 

– Thea Trinidad slaps Andrade Cien Almas

Third Match: Hideo Itami vs. Oney Larcan 

Itami and Larcan goes into the collar and elbow tie up. Standing Switch by Larcan. Itami applies a front face lock. Itami slaps Larcan in the face. Itami lands a vicious lariat. Itami goes for the cover for a two count. Larcan lands a series of shots to the midsection of Itami. Itami responds with two consecutive knee strikes. Itami goes for another cover for a two count. Itami kicks Larcan in the back. Larcan lands a back elbow in the corner. Larcan follows that with a boot to the jaw. Larcan plants Itami with the Running Blockbuster for a two count.

Itami heads out of the ring. Larcan goes for a suicide dive, but Itami counters by kicking Larcan in the chest. Itami drops Larcan with a Missile Dropkick for a two count. Larcan tries to outsmart Itami and goes for a quick rollup for a two count. Larcan lands a series of knife edge chops to Itami. Itami is not selling the attack. Larcan viciously slaps Itami in the face and follows that with two nasty running european uppercuts. Itami rolls out of the ring. Larcan ascends to the top rope. Larcan with a Cannonball off the top rope onto Itami on the outside. Itami unloads on Larcan with a flurry of vicious strikes. Itami plants Larcan with the GTS. Itami follows that with three more GTS’s. The referee tries to back Itami off of Larcan. Kassius Ohno comes down to the ring to calm Itami down. Itami shoves Ohno. Ohno shoves Itami back. Itami heads out of the ring.

Winner: No Contest

Fourth Match: Killian Dain w/Sanity vs. No Way Jose

Jose blocks a punch from Dain. Jose lands a forearm strikes. Dain drives his knee to the gut of Jose. Jose lands a head butt and Dain shakes it off. Jose with a reverse chin lock. Dain backs Jose into the turnbuckles. Jose returns to the side head lock and Dain sends Jose into the turnbuckles to escape. Jose floats over and hits a clothesline. Dain sends Jose to the apron. Jose with a forearm from the ring apron. Jose lands a clubbing double axe handle off the top turnbuckle. Jose with a knee strike that sends Dain to the outside.

Jose is trying to fight out of the corner. Dain with a running cross body to Jose. Dain stomps on Jose chest in the corner. Dain with a clubbing blow to the back of Jose. Dain with a running elbow drop. Dain works on the neck. Dain is targeting the neck of Jose. Dain gets Jose on his shoulders and hits Wasteland.  Dain follows that with a senton to the back for a two count. Dain with clubbing cross faces to Jose. Dain gets Jose on his shoulders, but Jose gets back to his feet and connects with more forearm strikes.

Jose with a European Uppercut to Dain. Jose tries to get Dain in a fireman’s carry position, but Dain blocks it. Dain irish whips Jose to the corner. Dain goes for a Running Avalanche in the corner, but Jose ducks out of the way. Jose with a running punch to the temple. Jose plants Dain with the TKO for a two count. Jose winds up for the punch, but Dain headbutts Jose. Dain connects with a  running drop kick that sends Jose into the turnbuckles. Dain plants Jose Ulster Plantation to pickup the victory.

Winner: Killian Dain via Pinfall
