Johnny Gargano & The Undisputed Era In-Ring Segment:

We’ve been waiting for this moment for a very very long time. The last time Johnny Gargano was out here, he reminded everyone that he was told no at his NXT tryout. This proves what happens when you take no for an answer. This was a long journey, but he is finally Johnny Champion. Takeover was the toughest match of his career. Gargano gets immediately interrupted by The Undisputed Era who’s standing on the stage. Adam Cole says that he’s not going to stand here while Gargano has another love fest with the WWE Universe. This is not about not taking no for an answer. It’s about you getting lucky. Cole beat Gargano in the middle of the ring in New York.

If this was any other match, Cole would be the NXT Champion. Cole calls Gargano an idiot. Cole is the uncrowned champion and Gargano is a punk. Is there trouble with Cole’s boy band? Is there something that’s not in sync?  Gargano reminds Cole that he made him tap out in the second fall and again in the third fall. The scoreboard reads Johnny Gargano 2 and Adam Cole 1. That means that he’s the champion. That’s not definitive, it’s undisputed. Gargano wouldn’t be out here whining like some spoiled baby. If the baby wants to grow a pair, Gargano will have no problem putting more points on that scoreboard. Cole tells Gargano to be careful what he wishes for. The Undisputed Era lays out Gargano.
