William Regal Announcement:

Regal announces that there’s an opportunity to announce a new number one contender to face Andrade Cien Almas at NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia. There will be four singles matches to set up a Number One’s Contender Fatal Four Way Match. Trent Seven will face Killian Dain. Kassius Ohno was scheduled to face The Velveteen Dream, but he suffered an injury and will not be able to compete. Regal has found a suitable replacement.

Andrade Cien Almas NXT Championship Celebration: 

You are all witness to the beginning of a historic championship reign. Ladies and gentlemen, respect the man, embrace the legend, and rise for your NXT Champion. Almas thanks Vega. He told you that he was going to be the NXT Champion. Almas defeated Drew McIntyre at NXT TakeOver: Houston. He feels sorry that McIntyre got hurt. McIntyre is going to be gone for a long time. As for the next number one contender, they will suffer the same consequences. For all of you, we are NXT.

First Match: Trent Seven vs. Killian Dain in a Number One Contender Fatal Four Way Qualifying Match 

Seven starts things off with a series of haymakers. Seven with open hand palm strikes to Dain. Dain delivers a big forearm shiver. Dain with a Shot Gun Dropkick that sends Seven crashing into the turnbuckles. Dain repeatedly stomps on Seven chest in the corner. Dain levels Seven with a forearm smash. Dain bodyslams Seven for a two count.

Dain applies a Cravate. Seven gets back to a vertical base. Seven creates distance with multiple bodyshots. Seven with a flurry of knife edge chops. Seven kicks Dain in the gut. Seven connects with a DDT. Seven goes for The Seven Lariat, but Dain blocks it. Seven with an Spinning Back Fist to Dain.

Dain responds with a Running Crossbody Block for a two count. Seven lands The Seven Star Lariat for a two count. Dain fights out of the fireman’s carry position. Dain with a Fireman’s Carry Slam to Seven. Dain follows that with a Running Senton. Dain connects with The Vader Bomb to pickup the victory.

Winner: Killian Dain via Pinfall 

Second Match: Ruby Riott vs. Sonya Deville in a No Holds Barred Match 

Deville with two waist lock takedowns to Ruby. Deville follows that with a Gut Wrench Suplex. Ruby rolls Deville over for a two count. Ruby is ramming her shoulders to the midsection of Deville. Ruby with a flurry of forearm shivers in the corner. Ruby decks Deville with a Spinning Heel Kick. Ruby with a Snap Vertical Suplex for a one count. Ruby goes for The Riott Kick, but Deville counters with the Ankle Lock. Ruby crawls to the middle rope to create separation.

Coming out of the commercial break, Deville rakes the eyes of Ruby. Deville with a Vicious RoundHouse Kick to the ribs of Ruby. Deville with the lateral press for a two count. Deville punches Ruby. Deville drives her knee into the midsection of Ruby. Following a snap mare takeover, Deville connects with the Sliding Knee Strike. Ruby fires back with a series of forearm shivers. Deville levels Ruby with an Leaping Lariat for a two count.

Deville applies a Half Nelson Chin Lock. Ruby gets back to a vertical base. Deville goes for the SuperWoman Punch, but Ruby counters with the STO. Deville runs into multiple lariats by Ruby. Ruby dropkicks Deville. Ruby follows that with a back elbow strike. Ruby with a SlingShot FlatLiner for a two count. Deville is trying to regain her composure on the outside. Ruby lands the Suicide Dive. Ruby rolls Deville back into the ring. Deville delivers a Big RoundHouse Kick. Deville locks in the Triangle Choke. Ruby proceeds to pass out.

Winner: Sonya Deville via Submission

Third Match: Kassius Ohno vs. Johnny Gargano in a Number One Contender’s Fatal Four Way Qualifying Match 

Ohno and Gargano shakes hands before the bell rings. Collar and Elbow Tie Up. Ohno with a waist lock takedown to Gargano. Gargano applies a wrist lock. Ohno reverses the hold. Ohno transitions into a sit out switch. More chain grappling in the center of the ring. Gargano leapfrogs over Ohno. Ohno SomerSaults over Gargano. Gargano with a cradle cover for a one count. Gargano ducks a lariat from Ohno. Gargano dropkicks Ohno. Ohn launches Gargano to the ring apron. Gargano goes for the SlingShot Spear, but Ohno counters with an rope assisted discus elbow smash that sends Gargano crashing to the outside.

Coming out of the commercial break, Ohno fires off a stiff knife edge chop. Ohno with multiple knee drops to Gargano. Ohno measure Gargano with a Big Boot for a two count. Ohno tells Gargano to bring it. Ohno with a Vicious Elbow Strike for a two count. Ohno goes for a Running Senton, but Gargano gets his knees up in the air. Gargano fires up with a flurry of forearm shivers. Gargano kicks Ohno in the jaw. Gargano with a Hurricanrana to Ohno. Gargano follows that with a Step Up Enzuigiri. Gargano connects with the SlingShot Spear for a two count.

Ohno dodges a roll through roundhouse kick by Gargano. Ohno with the Running Senton. Gargano turns a Suicide Dive into a Tornado DDT on the ramp. Gargano rolls Ohno back into the ring. Gargano with another Step Up Enzuigiri in the corner. Ohno responds with the Cyclone Kick for a two count. Ohno punches Gargano in the jaw.

Gargano fights out of the Electric Chair Position. Gargano with the Victory Roll for a two count. Ohno levels Gargano with the Bicycle Kick. Ohno follows that with a Leaping Northern Lariat for a two count. Ohno goes for the Rolling Elbow, but Gargano counters with a series of SuperKicks. Gargano locks in the Gargano Escape which forces Ohno to tap out.

Winner: Johnny Gargano via Submission
