Randy Orton & Matt Cardona Segment

Randy Orton: Two weeks ago, I stood in this ring, right next to Cody Rhodes, and he looked me directly in the eye, and he told me that he needed me to be the best version of Randy Orton that I can be. And then he proceeded to tell me that each and every one of you want me to be the best version of Randy Orton that I could be. Then he told me that he wanted me to be The Viper. He told me he wanted me to listen to the voices in my head. The thing is, I shut them out, a long, long time ago. And for the past few years, I’ve been thinking a lot about number fifteen. I’ve been thinking a lot about my legacy and how I’m going to leave things when I’m done. I’ve been thinking about my fifteenth World Championship.

And then Cody out of nowhere gives me his blessing. Now that I’m listening to those voices in my head, once again, I have to let everybody know, I can’t be held responsible for what happens next. The voices in my head, they’re not the problem, it’s all of your voices, it’s everyone else’s voice outside my head that is the problem. But there is one voice, there is one person that’s got my ear, there is one person outside of my head whose voice I am listening to. No, no, no, cut his music. Are you serious right now? You want to come in the ring, you want me to break your other arm? You’re lucky you still got a job at this place. What the hell are you doing? You’ve got a microphone; you have something to say? Say something, you son of a bitch.

Cardona clocks Orton with the microphone. Orton regroups on the outside. Cardona tells Orton to bring it. The referees come out to check on Orton to close this segment.

– Nick Aldis runs into Trick Williams in the backstage area. Nick says that he’s been very impressed with Trick’s performance as of late, and it’s not just him saying it, he hears the WWE Universe, he’s going to be a big player on the blue brand, and he cares about business, so let’s talk some business. Nick says that he’s rewarding Trick with an ultimate spot in this business, a match at WrestleMania. Trick is hyped, he needs to call his mama, Lash, Lil Yachty. Sami Zayn joins the conversation. Trick gives the gingerbread man the breaking news. Sami says congratulations. Sami wants to know what’s on his agenda regarding WrestleMania this year. Nick said that he didn’t want to have this conversation here, but things haven’t been going his way as of late. There’s a lot of value and real estate that comes with WrestleMania, titles need to be defended on both nights. Nick says unless something changes, Nick doesn’t have a spot for Sami Zayn at WrestleMania. Trick tells Sami, better luck next year. Sami looks dejected as he’s walking away. Trick wants to know how many comp tickets he can get in his suite. Trick tells Sami that catering is that way. Sami rocks Trick with a forearm smash. Sami tells Nick that he’s going to have a match at WrestleMania.

– Coming out of the commercial break, Randy Orton starts venting to Nick Aldis. Orton tells Nick that he needs to make a match between him and Matt Cardona, tonight. Nick brings up the fact that Orton injured Cardona’s arm last week. Orton tells Nick that if he can’t make the match between the two tonight, he’s not quite sure what will happen to Cardona by the end of the night, the voices are going to take over and something really bad is going to happen. Nick makes the match official. Nick tells Orton to go cool off, preferably somewhere by himself.

The Irresistible Forces Promo

Nia Jax: Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, there’s still time to buy tickets to Monday Night Raw, where you’re gonna see Nia and I, a team you actually want to watch, compete against Bayley and Lyra for the Tag Team Championships. Now, unfortunately, tonight, you’re gonna watch these wannabe contenders, try their best. But you know what, I’m all about putting the spotlight on the tag team division, but there would be no spotlight without Lash and I, so it doesn’t make sense that we’re not out here.

Lash Legend: You’re right, it doesn’t make sense, just like everyone thinking The Bella Twins are so hot when we’re here in comparison or everyone cheering for Charlotte and Alexa with their fake, phony ass friendship. Charlotte’s problem is that The Bellas didn’t stand a chance against them without The Irresistible Forces, so they should get to the back of the line. The Bellas didn’t ask for The Irresistible Forces to watch their match, so it’s not their fault. They came back for one thing, and that’s to become the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, and they’ll do whatever it takes to get the job done. Charlotte and Alexa are not done with The Bellas. Alexa throws Brie’s flannel back into her face.

Rhea Ripley & Jade Cargill Segment

Rhea Ripley: I didn’t expect integrity from Jade Cargill. I was fully under the impression that she would do whatever she needed to do to not get her hands dirty. But the one thing that I didn’t expect was for B-Fab and Michin to be so desperate, that they have to stoop down to her level. If that’s the game you guys want to play, then that’s fine, because it is WrestleMania season, and I don’t care what I got to do or who I got to go through before I get there. So, I’m out here in my ring, I’m dressed for any kind of occasion, so why don’t you guys come join me, huh? Come on. You guys want to fight, let’s go.

Jade Cargill: You know, you sound real slick for somebody that got dropped last week. Y’all think we care?

B-Fab: You think we care about all that? Please, holds your mouths.

Jade Cargill: They didn’t join me, they positioned themselves in power. And if you think you’re gonna drag me down or I’m gonna drag them down, you already know what it is.

B-Fab: Rhea, I’m so glad you said it, you said you would take down anybody and anything to make sure you get what you want.

Rhea Ripley: I’m sorry, I can’t hear you, they’re pretty loud here.

B-Fab: This ain’t about you, I knew that. You’re a selfish backstabber. You don’t care about who sacrifice, who’s put in the work as long as you’re the one who gets the rewards.

Michin: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, shut up, this is not your show. I’ve been grinding for decades, just like you. We’ve been putting in work, just like you. And what, we’re the ones that’s forgotten, you get all the love and attention. No, no, no, no, no, we sick and tired of the not yets, we came for what’s ours right now.

B-Fab: And hey, Jade had a plan and we jumped at the opportunity, I mean, why wouldn’t we? She’s got the gold, she’s got the power, and at least with Jade, what you see is what you get.

Jade Cargill: And if you want to get your ass beat tonight, be our guest. I mean, you have all these people fooled. You’re not even a freaking person on SmackDown, you’re a guest. But it’s fine, we spoke to Nick Aldis, and B-Fab wants to step up tonight. You’re gonna learn today.

Rhea Ripley: I’m gonna learn? Okay, I’m gonna learn. What I’m gonna teach B-Fab tonight is that actions have consequences.

Jade Cargill: That you are going to get your ass beat?

Rhea Ripley: Oh, no, I’m gonna teach her, like I’m gonna teach you at WrestleMania, that actions have consequences, Jade. You can’t protect her from everything. She’s going to realize, real quick, that I’m something that you can’t protect her from. So, let’s get a referee down here then, let’s get this party started.

But if Jacob Fatu wants to start something, McIntyre will sure as hell finish it. Jacob took everything from McIntyre. When a man has nothing to lose, that’s when he’s the most dangerous.

Kit Wilson: Stop that music. Jelly, you crossed a line last week. So, before we fight tonight, I have to defend the honor of my mother. You tell lies, Mr. Jelly, about your willy and about your belly. You falsely claim you met my mother, but she would never choose you as her lover. To see you naked, that’s far from erotic. His job is to lead this family, but he can’t lead this family if everyone is not on the same page. Solo can admit that last week was a bit too much, so for that, he would like to apologize. But you know who would never apologize? Roman Reigns. That comment catches Tama Tonga’s attention. As The MFT’s walk away, Carmelo Hayes appears. Drew McIntyre, Jacob Fatu, Nick Aldis Segment

Jacob Fatu: Yadadamean!! I’m limping, busted open, cracked ribs, and it’s all got to do with one person. It got to do with you, Drew, huh. What the hell is wrong with you? You try to take me out? You try to end my career? You try to take food off my kids tables, Drew. What you thought, kicking my teeth down my throat was gonna keep me down? What you thought, hitting me in the head with the title was gonna keep me down? You thought hitting me with a car, pulling me out through the windshield, and banging my head on the car until you seen blood, you thought that was gonna hold me down? Hell, you thought throwing me off a side of a building was gonna hold me down? Hell nah. Hell nah. Hey, Drew, you did all that, but I’m still standing. I’m still here. And as long as got air in these lungs, that means, every week, every week, Drew, I’m gonna dog walk your punk ass.

Drew McIntyre: Look at you out here playing the victim. You’re not the victim, Jacob, I am. You started this whole thing when you accused me of a crime that I didn’t commit, because I’m Drew McIntyre, I’m always guilty until proven innocent, right? Well, you’re Jacob Fatu, you’re straight guilty, because you’re a damn criminal. You committed the crime and you did the time, and since you got out, you stole, you stole, you stole my title, you stole WrestleMania from me, you stole everything from me. You’re talking about taking food off your family’s table, taking food from your kid mouths. That’s my food. Look me in the eye, Jacob, look right in my eyes with your stupid beady eyes, because I mean this from the bottom of my heart, screw your damn kids.

Nick Alids: Enough. Enough. You just stay right there, Jacob. Both of you just stay right there. It’s obvious to me, especially after talking to medical that neither one of you are in any condition to beat the hell out of each other again here tonight. But I have a feeling that you’ll be okay by, let’s say, April 18th at WrestleMania. That’s right, Drew, you get your wish, you get your match at WrestleMania. Drew McIntyre, Jacob Fatu, one-on-one, but here’s the deal. You two have become liabilities to yourselves and the company, so I won’t be held responsible, WWE won’t be held responsible, there will be no disqualifications, no count-outs, the referee is only there to count the three or call the submission. There will be a winner, because your match at WrestleMania is Unsanctioned.

There would be no voices talking to him, no nothing, and maybe Matt would stand a chance tonight. Matt is left confused.
