Drew McIntyre, Nick Aldis, Jacob Fatu Segment
– As the show went on the air, we saw Jelly Roll arriving to the arena. Right Jelly got out of his truck, a wave of referees and producers ran past him. We see Drew McIntyre viciously attacking Jacob Fatu in the parking lot. It looked McIntyre drove Fatu’s head through a windshield. Fatu is completely busted open.
Drew McIntyre: What the hell did you think was gonna happen? You just want me to shut up and wrestle. The only place I should be wrestling is the main event of WrestleMania, and you took that away from me. I came here to fight, and if anybody is around Drew McIntyre, your ass belongs to me.
Nick Aldis: What the hell is wrong with you? What is your issue, Drew McIntyre? I swear to god, you’re the most self-sabotaging person I’ve ever known in this business. Every opportunity handed to you, and you still act like a maniac. You wanted to be champion, yet you didn’t want to defend the championship. Now, you want Jacob Fatu, and, by the way, he wants you, too, be very sure of that. And now I put you in a match, and now you can’t keep your hands off each other. You talk about being on the way to WrestleMania, the only place you’re on your way to is unemployment.
Drew McIntyre: How dare you? How dare you try to fire me? I tried to quit, I tried to quit, but you would love that, everybody would love that, wouldn’t they? No, no, Jacob would love that, you would love it. I’ve got a better idea. You think I’m acting like a child, by the way, yeah, I know you’ve got a child. Donovan should be ashamed to have such a corporate stooge for a father, and I’m going to cause chaos all night long. You’ve got to be kidding me.

– Cathy Kelley had a backstage interview with The Bella Twins. We will see enough Twin Magic tonight in order to takedown The Irresistible Forces? Brie thinks so, and if anybody that’s underestimating them are making a big mistake, which will make it that much sweeter when they beat Nia & Lash for the titles. Nikki says that they paved the way for the Women’s Tag Team Titles to even exist, and they’ve made history during their own careers. Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss interrupt the interview. Charlotte says that of course The Bellas skip the line to get a title shot after getting involved in their title match last week. Do you know what that’s called? Selfish. Charlotte tells Alexa to eat her ice cream, everything is fine. Charlotte says that they’re not gonna interrupt The Bellas title match tonight, because they’re not trying to be the center of attention. Whoever wins or losses, Charlotte and Alexa want next. Nikki wants Charlotte to come out and watch, that way they can see how real legends get it done. Brie steals Alexa’s spoon for added insult.

Sami tells Cathy that he has a match coming up with Aleister Black, and that should be 100% of his focus because he’s dangerous. Sami can’t stop thinking about Cody and everything that’s gone on between them the past couple of weeks. You can say a lot of things about Cody Rhodes, and Sami certainly has said a lot, especially to his face, but the one thing you have to give him credit for is that he tries to be good, he goes the extra mile most people don’t know. Cody ended up in a pool of his own blood and loaded up on a stretcher last week, while Randy Orton, who Sami looks up to, he did what he did, and look where that got him, with the WWE Championship in his hand.
Sami doesn’t know what to make of it anymore, it’s starting to feel like, the more Sami tries to do things the right way, the more things just go, people are pulling away, and the world he believed in just doesn’t exist anymore. Trick Williams interrupts the conversation. What was it that Sami said last week? Good luck against Jacob Fatu, the monster, the guy who just got in a car wreck and got back up, the one that nobody here can beat, except for Trick Williams, let’s talk about it. Trick sees the look in Sami’s face, and it hurts, but you know what they say. The more life gives you lemons, you put on your pepper steppers and mind your own business while grown folk is talking. Sami says that they’ve been doing a lot of talking lately, maybe they can just fight, right now. Trick tells Sami to take it easy. Trick says that he’s going to look at his schedule, and if he has some time, he may check out Sami’s match with Aleister Black. Trick may even give Sami some pointers if he likes what he sees. Randy Orton Segment
Randy Orton brought a steel chair into the ring and sits in the same position he did last week after brutally beating down Cody Rhodes.
Randy Orton: For years, when my entrance music hits, for years now, all you guys sing along. What a feeling that is, the love that you showed me, so I tried to return it. I give the fans high fives, I sign the action figures, I sign the replica titles. I’ll see a little kid with a poster that says, Randy, it’s my birthday. I’ll go up to that kid, I’ll wish that kid happy birthday, and I know that kid is going to remember that moment for the rest of their lives. That’s the power that I have that comes with doing this for as long as I’ve been doing it. The love you’ve showed me, the love that I give back, that puts a smile on my face. And that smile, that smile is the emptiness feeling that I’ve felt in my entire life. I’ve been doing this a long time, longer than most, but the reality is nothing lasts forever. So, when the times comes that I’ve got to hang up the boots, I don’t want my legacy to be the moments that I gave the young fans the high fives, the autographs, the smiles that I’ve put on your faces, I want my legacy to be how much championship gold I’ve put around my waist.
Not too long ago, I won the Elimination Chamber, and I was gonna go and fight Drew McIntyre for the title. And I knew that I could be exactly who I needed to be to face Drew, but then Cody came into the picture. And Cody beat Drew, took the title, and I didn’t know if I could be who I needed to be to beat Cody. I love Cody like a brother, and I still do. But last week, last week, Cody took that burden off my chest. Cody took all that weight off my shoulders when he said, Randy, I need you to be the best version of Randy Orton that you can be. Not just for me, not just for them, but for you. I need you to be The Viper. I need you to listen to the voices. The problem with listening to the voices is that I’m not always in control.
Sometimes, things can happen, there’s no plan, there’s chaos, hell, sometimes I get hurt just as bad as everybody else. But I know that I need that killer instinct, I know that I need that killer instinct to add number 15 to my legacy. And I’m gonna do that with the three most dangerous letters in all of sports entertainment, RKO. And I hear voices in my head, they council me, they understand, they talk to me. They talk to me, and they tell me that I’m going to beat Cody Rhodes. The voices in my head, they talk to me, and they tell me that I’m going to beat Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship. The voices in my head, they talk to me, and they tell me that I’m going to beat Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship, and I’m going to do it at the main event of WrestleMania.
– The Bella Twins Video Package.
– Coming out of the commercial break, Randy Orton runs into Matt Cardona in the backstage area. Orton says that he has no beef with Cardona, but if he has something to say, he better spit it out. Aldis says that the US Open Challenge is closed, because somebody made a very compelling pitch as to why they should be the next in line and it’s not The Miz. Melo turns around and sees Ilja Dragunov. Dragunov thought about what Melo said to him last week, and he was right, he’ll always be fighting himself. However, Dragunov cannot be the man he wants to be if he won’t take the shots right in front of him. Melo says that it’s about time. Tonight, one of them will be celebrating with champagne, and the other will just be in pain. Dragunov says that pain will entertain, whether it’s his or Melo’s.

Jade Cargill: See, it’s not about me, it’s about what you need. What you need is this title. Me, I don’t need thi damn title, I don’t need this ring, and I damn sure don’t need you fans. You’ve been grinding so hard to be somebody. And me, with or without wrestling, I’ve been that bitch, and I’m still that bitch. And like I said from day one, I’m not here to make friends, I’m here to make more money.

Rhea Ripley: No, no, no, I’m gonna stop you right there. So, I’m not gonna let you disrespect me, this business or anyone else in it. It’s obvious that you know nothing about this business if you think I need that title. See, since that title has been around your waist, that title needs me, and I’m gonna put it in a way that you are going to understand. You see, now, I want that title, so I am going to take that title. That’s why I’ve given you a big WrestleMania match, so welcome to the big leagues, bitch. Now, are we gonna continue talking or are we gonna do something about it? I’ll even let you get in the first shot. Come on, hit me. Come on, do something.

And Jelly is not talking about the wrestling, he’s talking about the husband, the father, the man. Jelly says that Randy has a beautiful soul, and that’s the man that had his back at SummerSlam. Life is not about what you do, it’s about who you do it with. Randy is not sure what to do, he knows he was out of line with Matt Cardona. Kit Wilson: Woah, woah, woah, one second, Jelly. Once again, the bravado, the ego, it’s maybe two steps in front of the brain. I suggest we settle this like civilized gentlemen. I don’t fight with my fists, I fight with my words. Toxic.
Jelly Roll: Dude, what? Did I hear you right, did you call me, this is getting weird, man. Did you bring me all the way to Raleigh to have a rap battle with you? I mean, don’t get me wrong, I think you’re a decent dancer, but you ain’t no rapper.

Kit Wilson: Jelly, you can talk all you want, but you got no class, just a couple of ugly face tattoos, and a criminal past. Hey, hey, but well done on losing all that weight, and looking so damn thin, all I see is a melted blob of skin. You’re fat phobic, you’re toxic, and I might even call you a jerk, but hey, at least we got proof, Ozempic works. I got more, I got more. Jelly, you try to inspire, but to me it’s a little bit silly. Hey, congrats on losing 300 pounds, maybe now you can see your little willy.
Jelly Roll: That was pretty good, that was pretty good. I didn’t bring a little book or nothing, but I might have a little something for you. Oh, Mr. Kit Wilson came in and try to destroy me, but I don’t have to see my willy, your mother sees it for me. Oh, you talk about Ozempic, that’s really original, y’all.
