Oba Femi, Ricky Saints, Je’Von Evans Segment

Oba Femi: Power, true power, it doesn’t bend, it doesn’t break, it doesn’t beg, it stands still, and it watches the world revolve around it. This is true power. 2X NXT Champion. This is true power. And fair play to Ricky Saints, the stars aligned for him, and he did exactly what he said what he was going to do at No Mercy, he momentarily knocked The Ruler off his throne. But let’s be real, NXT was not the same without The Ruler on top. So, then the universe did what it does best, it found a way to correct itself, and at Deadline, The Ruler rose from the ashes, and reclaimed his title. Because the title belongs here, it belongs to me, it’s on my shoulder, because this is the way it’s supposed to be, so now I’m done with Ricky Saints. And at Saturday Night’s Main Event, I will stand across the ring from Cody Rhodes, and he will look me in my eyes, and he will not see potential, he will not see the future, he will see the now, he will see the inevitable. The Ruler, The Destroyer, The Bringer Of War, in all my glory, Oba Femi. Now, we have to talk about the end of the show.

Ricky Saints: Oba, let me be the first to congratulate you. Prophecy fulfilled. My bag is lighter because of you, because did exactly what you said you were gonna do. And that’s the reason I shook your hand, because I am man enough to admit that Oba Femi was the better man after Deadline. And you know, on the drive home that night, it really made me start to think, what is next for “Absolute” Ricky Saints. The Absolute Era came and went. And, you know, I see you standing here with the NXT Championship, and it really does make me feel, like, well, that was it. There ain’t never gonna be another chance for me to regained that, but then I remembered exactly who the hell I am. I’m “Absolute” Ricky Saints. And if you think that I’m gonna bow down, and just fade to the back, oh, you’ve got another thing coming. I am gonna step right back up, I’m putting all bets right on this heart, and I am coming after what is mine. You talk about the universe correcting itself, nah, I’m steering it back on course, I’m undoing all mistakes. Let the record show, it’s Ricky Saints, 1, Oba Femi, 1. So, by those standards, I gave you your shot, now I’m demanding my rematch for the NXT Championship.

Je’Von Evans: Hey, hey, hey, hold on, hold on, hold on, turn up now, turn up. Yerp! I ain’t even gonna lie, I didn’t mean to interrupt for real, but I’ve been watching Deadline over and over and over and over, and over again. Like, The Young OG survived The Iron Survivor Challenge. And because of that, that means I just earned an NXT Championship Opportunity at New Year’s Evil. But then that made me wonder, why would I wait till January to have a match? I mean, I’m on fire. I’m locked in right now. I’m ready right now. Hey, ain’t nobody gonna dictate my moment. So, Oba, if you’re picking up what I’m putting down, champ, how about I have that NXT Championship Match, tonight?

Ricky Saints: Woah, woah, woah, Je’Von, hold on, hold on. What’s the rush? For real, what’s the rush? You’re on fire, you have banger after banger, you’re having all these great matches, what is the rush? Think about this, if I get the rematch, and it could be me and you for the title, and that right there is a way better play than whatever this is? You have been there for me; you have been there for me every step of the way. And it’s totally your call, I get it, but are you sure this is the play?

Je’Von Evans: See, this is why I’m doing this. Am I sure? That’s all I hear, Ricky. Oh, are you sure, Je’Von? Let’s not rush you, Je’Von. How about this, Je’Von, you’re the future. Is Je’Von Evans the future? Hell nah, Je’Von Evans is the right now. And I don’t need the stars to line up for me, I line up myself, you feel me? So, how do I say this, I don’t mean to be cocky, you feel me, but ain’t nobody touching me at the age of 21. You feel me? I’ve been going crazy. AAA, NXT, Raw, SmackDown, what, you want some more? Hell, NXT live events, what’s up with it? Ain’t nobody touching me, and that’s the play right now. So, Oba, you’re the man I got beef for that NXT Championship. And if there’s anybody that I would put money on tonight, it’s going to be The Young OG, Je’Von Evans.

Ricky Saints: Okay, okay, damn right. No, I’m with it, it’s your time tonight. How about this, no, for real, it’s your time, go and get yours.

Oba Femi: So, you two beltless, titleless, championshipless guys want to come and tell the champion how to run things? Is that so?

Ricky Saints: Woah, woah, woah, hold on, big fella. Pump your brakes. Aren’t you, Oba Femi, The Ruler? Are you saying no The Iron Survivor?

Je’Von Evans: Nah, nah, nah, it looks like his ass scary a hell. Scary as hell, because you know for a fact that The Young OG got your number.

Oba Femi: Je’Von, I’ve never been afraid of you. As a matter of fact, every single time we’ve locked up, you’ve never beaten me, I’ve always beat you, and it’s going to be no different tonight. So, you know what? Game on.

– We got a video recap on the Jordynne Grace/Kelani Jordan Rivalry.

Tatum Paxley Promo

Izzi, you said that you were gonna end this pathetic version of myself that just refused to evolve. And you know what? You did it. She’s all gone now, and I have nothing to lose, but you do. You stabbed me in my back, separated my heart from my mind, all because I didn’t want to play your way. Well, now we’re gonna play my game. Take it from Thea, her emotions are always all over the place. This isn’t the time for Grace to start doubting herself, it’s time for her to believe in herself even more. Grace has everything to be exactly where she wants to be, because she’s Jordynne Freakin’ Grace. Grace asked Thea if she’s truly getting advice from a 16-year-old. Thea says that she’s 22 years old, and she’s been in NXT since she was 18, some people may say she’s pretty grizzled.

Second Match: Blake Monroe (c) vs. TBD For The WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship

Blake Monroe: As your NXT Women’s North American Champion, I know how much the women in that locker room idolize me, and how they look up to me as something of a role model. And with the holiday’s coming up, I’m finding myself in a giving mood, wanting to bless those less fortunate, give back. After all, who doesn’t want a little bit of glamour in their life? So, being the ferocious competitor that I am, I have decided to host an open challenge. And of course, AVA agreed. So, without further ado, let’s see which lucky lady gets the opportunity of a lifetime. Okay, one at a time. Seriously, one at a time. AVA! AVA!

The entire Women’s Locker Room appears on the stage. Thea Hail slides into the ring. Thea makes Monroe tap out to The Kimura Lock. Monroe retreats to the outside with the Women’s North American Championship, because the bell never rung.

– Kelly Kincaid had a backstage interview with Shiloh Hill. He’s so excited about his in-ring debut. Obviously, he’s a bit nervous, but you know what they say about nervousness, right, that’s just the body activating the hyperactive nervous system. He feels good. He has all this pent-up energy, and now he gets to unleash that, and go smash mouth on Lexis King. It’s now time to show the world why no one sleeps on Shiloh Hill.

– Kelly Kincaid had a backstage interview with Oba Femi. When you’re champion, you learn to expect the unexpected. Because when surprises run into dominance, like himself, the end result is typically predictable, because it always ends with gold hoisted above my head. Oba hopes that Cody Rhodes is watching tonight, because he knows what Je’Von Evans is all about, but he has no idea what The Ruler is capable of. Oba’s gonna step up to Cody in his own territory, because he’s the face of the company, QB 1, the man who carries this place. Who is going to carry Cody when Oba puts him in the ground? That’s what awaits Cody and Je’Von. Oba is going to break The Iron Survivor, and then on Saturday, he’ll break The American Nightmare. Oba must prepare for tonight’s main event.

– WWE LJN Action Figures are now available in stores exclusively at Target.

Ethan Page & Tony D’Angelo Segment

Ethan Page: Superstars such as reptiles, insiders, outsiders, it truly doesn’t matter when it comes to my North American Championship. Folks, I came to NXT to drink from the fountain of youth, and soak up as much knowledge as humanly possible, but it turns out I was the only guy willing to ask the questions that nobody had the balls to ask. No, it’s true. While athletes asked, how to perform the best dropkick, I asked, how do I break that guy’s jaw? And while no one gave me the answer I was looking for, I did it their way, anyways. Old school, trail and error, using whatever warm body this company wants to call a professional wrestler. So, now these said wrestlers seem to be a little preoccupied with their TikToks, with their social media, trying to aim for that finger point photo with their childhood favorite. Well, these were the same men I was asking these questions to, so that these athletes can stay in the back, and stare at me out here with these.

Now, collectively, we’re all gonna have to watch. We’re gonna watch John Cena have his last match in a couple days, and after that, we get to watch John Cena walk away for good. What I’ve learned really quickly is though, about a week after he’s gone, that man will become a distant memory, leaving a big giant void to be filled, a void to be filled by a man with a giant ego, that same man who won the NXT Championship in record time. Now, when I couldn’t find my path back to that championship, well, that’s when I won this. Turning the North American Championship into the most sought after, prestigious prize in all of NXT. And by the way, that’s not just a cliche or a catchphrase, it’s true, check my resume.

Every locker room, brand, company, amalgamation of letters has sent their very best to try to take this championship from me, and they couldn’t. Now, a man with that many accomplishments truly deserves a break. No break for All Ego, I decided to keep conquering, and I did. I went on, while defending this championship, to win the AAA Mixed Tag Team Titles, making me one of one, unlike anyone else in this entire company. Folks, there are three days most important to everyone in the entire world, the day you were brought into this world, the day you leave this world, and the day you realize Ethan Page is the biggest superstar the WWE has to offer. And then going forward, under my supervision, NXT will be perfectly fine.

– The lights go out in the building. Tony D’Angelo appears behind Page. Angelo drops Page with The Forget About It. Angelo pours the broken hat pieces on top of Page.

– Coming out of the commercial break, we see AVA talking to Joe Hendry, Leon Slater, Myles Borne and Dion Lennox in her office. Lennox wants to know what’s going on. All four guys start bickering with each other. AVA says that the four guys will compete in a traditional Fatal Four Way Match, the winner of that match will face the NXT Champion at New Year’s Evil. Ethan Page storms into the office throwing a massive fit. He wants to know what the hell is going on with Tony D’Angelo. AVA says that she hasn’t seen Tony in months. Page calls AVA a goofball general manager. Page had a lizard stealing his car last week, this week he has someone who’s been out of action for six months attacking him for absolutely no reason. Where’s the love? Borne tries to scare Page by saying someone is behind him.

Winner: Sol Ruca via Pinfall

Jacy Jayne & Kendal Grey Segment

Jacy Jayne: Look at you, Kendal, I mean, you’re living the Cinderella story, aren’t you? Going from relatively unknown to being The Iron Survivor. I mean, that’s quite the accomplishment, and you should be extremely proud of yourself. And take a piece of advice from your locker room leader, this feeling you have, this moment is as good as it’s gonna get, because think about it, you have all of these people hyping you up and supporting you. Kendal Grey’s Stocks have never been higher. Kendal isn’t just the future, she’s the now. I mean, truly, you’re living the dream. This is exactly why people always say that they want to do this, so that they could get the love and support that you’re getting right now. And, you know, I hate to be the one to say it, but your reality is gonna smack you in the face come New Year’s Evil, because your 15 minutes of fame are gonna be up when you lose, and you will lose. This crash, this downward spiral that I’m gonna send you on is gonna be catastrophic. And these people, they’ll do what they always do, and move on to the next new favorite, the next new flavor of the month, and then where does that leave you, Kendal? Where?

You see, no one else is gonna tell you the truth, but I have no problem being the bad guy. Potential, it doesn’t win championships. You may have that EVOLVE Women’s Championship on your shoulder, but holding this championship, this prestigious title is a whole different level. And you may have spent all year trying to make a name for yourself, but I owned this year. 2025 was the year of Jacy Freakin’ Jayne. I went from being underappreciated, overlooked, to being the most dominant woman in the deepest women’s division in history. And speaking of history, I’m also a history maker. I’m the first woman to ever hold the TNA Knockouts World Championship and the NXT Women’s Championship at the same time. I’m a 2X NXT Women’s Champion. You see, everybody realized this year what I’ve known all along, that I am a rockstar in this ring, I am the foundation, the glue that holds this place together. So, in what world do you think I’m gonna let some flash in the pan, bootleg Kurt Angle with a ponytail steal my spotlight? Kendal, sweetheart, rookie, you don’t stand a chance in hell at beating me, oh, you loser.

Kendal Grey: Wow, that was a lot. Can I talk now? No, I’m gonna talk now, okay. Look, Jacy, you’re right, you had a ton of momentum this year but look who has the momentum now. And I get it, I’m the rookie, I’m still up and coming, and I still has so much to learn. Okay, I do, I do have so much to learn, but nobody expected me to win The Iron Survivor and I did. And I even shocked myself, and now no one expects me to beat you. But now that I think about it, nobody expected you to beat Stephanie for the title, didn’t they? And that’s what I love about wrestling. When we get in the ring, anything can happen. This past Saturday, I showed the world that I could rise to the occasion. So, if you want to take our match at New Year’s Evil as a joke, then go ahead, Jacy, but do you know what’s the best part of being an underdog? It’s watching the face people make when the underdog bites back.

Jacy Jayne: She’s cute, isn’t she? You see, Kendal, she wins one big match, and suddenly she thinks she belongs in the ring with the most dominant female faction in all of wrestling today? What a joke.

Wren Sinclair: I know the WrenQCC is just getting started, but we already have a title, and then we’ll have two titles, and that leaves you with one? But who knows, Fallon, maybe the WrenQCC is going to make a clean sweep.

Lainey Reid: Alright, alright, alright, that’s enough, Wren. Matching jackets doesn’t make your little project here any better than Fatal Influence. And you know what? We have no problem showing you that.

Fallon Henley: But don’t worry, Jacy, we’ll leave just enough for you to remind this rookie exactly where she belongs. And I mean.

Fallon sucker punches Grey. Fatal Influence gets into a brawl with The WrenQCC. Reid SuperKicks Sinclair. Fatal Influence regains the numbers advantage. Jacy Jayne stands tall over Grey to close this segment.

– Coming out of the commercial break, we see AVA talking to Blake Monroe in her office. AVA asked Blake how the open challenge went. Blake blames AVA for the open challenge going bad tonight. AVA said that this was Blake’s idea, she tried to talk her out of it. Blake doesn’t want to AVA backtrack, she can’t believe she would embarrass her like that. Blake would be a glamourous champion, but AVA ruined it. Blake says that she’s no longer issuing open challenges. Blake wants an apology from AVA. AVA will not apologize to Blake, in fact, next week on NXT, Blake will defend the NXT Women’s North American Championship against Thea Hail. Blake says that AVA has some nerve. AVA hopes Blake’s shoulder gets better.

– Sol Ruca catches up to Zaria in the parking lot. Sol wants to know why Zaria was in the crowd tonight. Zaria knows that they haven’t had their talk yet, so she just wanted to support her. That means a lot to Sol. Zaria wishes Sol good luck in her match with Bayley at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Sol says that she wants Zaria in her corner on Saturday. Sol and Zaria proceed to hug it out. Zaria never had a friend like Sol before.

– Next week on NXT, Joe Hendry will battle Leon Slater, Myles Borne and Dion Lennox In A Fatal Four Way Match. The winner will face the NXT Champion at NXT New Year’s Evil. Plus, Blake Monroe puts her NXT Women’s North American Championship on the line against Thea Hail.
