John Cena & Dominik Mysterio Segment
John Cena: Boy, do I welcome that enthusiasm, but y’all got it twisted, it is New York City that makes or breaks careers. And at the end of mine, I look around, and I see people as far as the eye can see. Thank you, New York City. Are we ready to start? Well, hell, then. Madison Square Garden, The Champ Is Here. What a night, Madison Square Garden has allowed me to step on the stage, in these hallowed halls for 23 years. Tonight, there’s a little bit of extra enthusiasm in the air, because tonight is the last time that we can talk together, in Madison Square Garden, and on Monday Night Raw. Bittersweet moment for some, it is a very important moment for me. And I want to take a second.
Dominik Mysterio: Nobody wants to hear what you have to say. John, last week, you were handed a title shot, just like you’ve been handed everything else. I have fought for everything I have, so I want a rematch for my Intercontinental Championship.
John Cena: It’s tough to process over all the noise, I think you just asked for a rematch for the Intercontinental Championship. Well, gosh, did you ever come to the right building. If you think I’m gonna back down on my last Monday Night Raw, hell no. I’ve got to do one thing first; I really like to ask New York City how they feel about this situation. What do you say? Tonight, in the World’s Most Famous Arena, Dom Mysterio face-to-face with John Cena, for the Intercontinental Championship, right here, right now? You feeling froggy, jump, fella, here we go.
Dominik Mysterio: No. You see, we already did it your way. You had management on your side, you had your hometown on your side, so now we’re gonna do it my way.
John Cena: Netflix, they’re saying, Choco-Fun-Cup, just in case you want to bleep it. It’s Choco-Fun-Cup, keep it on the air. They’re not saying that.
Dominik Mysterio: You’re done?
John Cena: Are you done? You want to fight now or not?
Dominik Mysterio: No, Survivor Series, San Diego, California. My way, my home turf.
John Cena: Done. You want your rematch in your backyard at Survivor Series on ESPN? San Diego, California, you and me for the Intercontinental Championship? No problem, I accept. Here’s where I have a problem. I told the world that I would have a match, tonight, on my last Monday Night Raw, and I see an opponent, right in the middle of the ring. So, for tonight, let’s forget about this (The IC Title), and focus on this (the NYC Crowd). I’ll put that up in San Diego, but tonight, if you got the guts, you will face me, right here, right now, one-on-one, and take a chance at making history. Do you feel lucky, punk?
