CM Punk & Jey Uso Segment
Jey Uso: I said, welcome to Mon-Jey Night Raw. I’ve got a lot of people in my ears these days, uce. I’ve got Roman in my ear, I’ve got Jimmy in my ear, everybody mama in my ear. But I’m tell you all this, uce, right now, I don’t give a damn what they think about me. Yeah, because it’s just me, uce. It’s just me for the number one contender, i’s just me Saturday Night, it’s just me who’s going to be the new World Heavyweight Champion, two-time. Hey, y’all know the lingo, four letters, one word, ugh-ugh, YEET!
– CM Punk mocks Jey Uso with having his entrance music replayed after making his entrance.
CM Punk: Alright, alright, alright, I apologize for stealing your stuff. Four letters, one word, Punk. I’m going to do my best not to get in your personal space tonight, because Saturday, that’s all you’re going to get, and that’s me in your grill. But before we get to Saturday, let’s talk about tonight, right now. I’m happy for you. You’re finally listening to you, not listening to all of the noise, Jimmy, Roman. It’s no secret, it’s no secret Anaheim that me and Jey are friends, which makes it harder for me to lace them up against you. I always try to put myself in my opponent’s shoes, but I’ve never been in your situation, because I’ve always listened to myself. I follow my heart, I listen to my gut, and I believe in myself, which is easy to do when you’re winning, it’s a lot harder to do when you’re losing or when you’re about to lose. Now, I’ve had a lot of questions coming out here, and your body language answers a lot of them for me, your actions last week answer a lot of questions for me.
I know you got what it takes. I watched you throw your brother over the top rope. Congratulations on the winning battle royal, by the way. And ladies and gentlemen, I don’t mean to admonish you, but you don’t boo that, it’s well within the rules, it’s every man for himself. Jey is just showing everybody, including me, that he’s got what it takes. And if you’re listening to you, and you’re not listening to anybody else, I’m talking to you, Jey. You got what it takes, but how far are you willing to go? I’m not asking Big Jim’s Brother, I’m certainly not asking Little Roman, I’m asking “Main Event” Jey Uso, how far are you willing to go, because you’re not the only one who needs to be champion again. The small amount of time I held onto that title at SummerSlam after besting GUNTHER was way too short, I need to be champion like I need air in my lungs. And I how know far I’m willing to go, but Saturday night, Saturday Night’s Main Event, Jey Uso versus CM Punk, when you’re faced down on the mat after I knocked out your grill, and you look up and realize that you’re in a situation that you can’t YEET yourself out of, look at me, how far are you willing to go?
Jey Uso: Let’s go, Punk. Let’s go, uce. I’ve been in deep waters before, I know how to swim. But you’re gonna do what you always do, you’re gonna spin the block, have these people thinking you’re the man to get behind, right? That’s what you do, uce. As soon as I do something right for me, he’s gonna paint the picture, like, I’m the bad guy. I know, I know, guess what, screw you, Punk. Yeah, yeah, because Saturday night, I show you who the best in the world is, uce. Four letters, one word, ugh-ugh, YEET!
– We head to The Judgment Day’s Clubhouse. Dominik Mysterio says that they have a problem. Adam Pearce has some vendetta against him, and now Rusev and PENTA are competing in a Number One Contenders Match. Raquel Rodriguez says that, if Dom wasn’t such a perpetual cheater, he wouldn’t have a problem. Dom feels that heinous, because he’s never cheated a day in his life. Now he has to face the winner at Saturday Night’s Main Event, so what are they going to do? Finn Balor is taken aback by those questions. JD says that their focus is on getting back the World Tag Team Titles, the ones Dom cost them last week. JD tells Dom that he’s on his own. Dom calls El Grande Americano as he leaves the clubhouse. Raquel is not allowing Roxanne to talk to Dom, because she needs to focus on her match with Nikki Bella.

– Jackie Redmond had a backstage interview with LA Knight. Where does he go from here after falling short in last week’s Number One Contenders Battle Royal? Sometimes you almost lose the drive to keep moving forward. He did fall short; he didn’t come out with what he needed. Did Jey Uso really mean to throw his brother over the top rope? Knight doesn’t care about any of that, because at the end of the day, Jey is going on to Saturday Night’s Main Event, and he’s not. Knight doesn’t know how to quit. No matter who becomes the World Heavyweight Champion, they’ll have a target on their back, because his business is capturing that World Heavyweight Championship, with everybody saying, LA Knight, YEAH!!!
– We head to The Vision’s Locker Room. Bron Breakker is still complaining about the fact that they should’ve been in the battle royal last week, because it was their quickest path to the World Heavyweight Championship. Paul Heyman loves Bron’s idea, but there would be consequences to it, because it would’ve exasperated and already pissed off Adam Pearce, who could’ve suspended all of three of them indefinitely without pay and made it his life mission to keep Bron Breakker away from the World Heavyweight Championship. Instead of using that great idea on 20 guys, let’s just it one man. There’s only one man shares their vision right now. CM Punk and Jey Uso are going to beat each other half to death. That champion will show up to Raw next week as a victim, looking to be victimized by a true victimizer. If Bron eliminates that one person that shares their vision, and his path to the World Heavyweight Championship is clear. Heyman informs Breakker that he already talked to Adam Pearce, and he’ll face that man very soon. Breakker wants to know who his opponent is going to be. That man will indeed be Knight.
– We got a cool video package celebrating Asuka’s 10 years in the WWE.
– We see The Judgment Day talking to Adam Pearce in his office. Pearce wants to know where Dominik Mysterio, because he has some very important news to share with him. JD tells Pearce that he could give them their tag team title rematch tonight. Pearce says that Finn Balor and JD McDonagh are already busy tonight. They must have forgot that they cost Sheamus the battle royal last week. Pearce says that Sheamus is pissed off. Finn and JD will now have to decide which one of them will face Sheamus tonight. JD tells Pearce that he’ll fight Sheamus, and after he’s done ripping his head off, he’s coming back to Pearce’s office. Balor doesn’t want Pearce to forget about their tag team title rematch.

Soon as Jimmy turns around while helping Jey, he threw him out. Jey says that he was trying to eliminate LA Knight. Jimmy saw the tape; he’s not falling for that. Jey saved his own ass last week. It was supposed to be Jimmy and Jey as the final two, and then it would’ve been everyman for himself, but Jey thought about himself, like he always does. You know what Jimmy thinks?
