Ricky Saints, Jacy Jayne, AVA, Santino Marella, Mike Santana, Kelani Jordan Segment

Ricky Saints: Hey, thank you. You know, I said that every giant needed to rest, and at No Mercy, I did that when I put Oba down. And you know what else is funny? You guys have been with me since day one, since I came here, and I don’t know if you remember this or not, but February 8th, I stood in this ring and I said, reality is me headlining every NXT PLE. Reality was me winning the NXT Championship. Well damn, baby, I feel like reality is standing right here in front of y’all. It has not been an easy journey to this point. There have been a lot of empty nights, a lot of doubtful times. Alot of times when the question was asked, can Ricky do it? Could do I it? So, I’ll ask all of you. Did I do it? Did we do it? If there’s one thing about me, I’m always gonna stand on my business, that is why, when it came down to it, put all of my chips on the line, I bet on myself, and I took on Oba Femi, and I walked out of Fort Lauderdale, the new NXT Champion. This right here is absolute proof that the only person you need to worry about is you. The only person that you need to keep betting on is you, because there’s one person you always got to see when you go to sleep, and that’s yourself.

Jacy Jayne: Ricky, Ricky, congratulations. As happy as I am for you, we have bigger things to worry about. Pipe down you idiots, the champ is talking. Like I said, Ricky, pay no attention to these losers. We have bigger things to worry about, like the fact that TNA is trying to takeover NXT, even though we have both of your titles. I mean, I guess if I were them, I’d be pretty upset as well. But, oh well, like I was saying, Ricky, nobody likes to talk about themselves more than I do.

AVA: Wow, Jacy, for once you actually took the words right out of my mouth. You’re right, you guys do have more important things to worry about, because I’ve decided that both of you are the team captains for NXT, which means that you both have the very important task of deciding who is going to be on your team. And for this, I need you both to put your pride and your differences aside, because I need the best team. I need the best women and men in NXT.

Santino Marella: AVA, that is a great idea, I’m gonna let my captains choose the team as well. Speaking of captains, let me just say this, I don’t trust Tricky Williams for one second, so he’s not going to be my captain. How can you trust a guy with a name Tricky? So, I would like to introduce my captain, right now. Ladies and gentlemen, Mike Santana. Hey, Mikey. But there is someone from NXT who I do trust to be a captain of Team TNA. That’s right, the newly crowned TNA Knockouts World Champion, ladies and gentlemen, Kelani Jordan.

AVA: Now, like I said previously, I need both teams finalized by the end of the night.

Santino Marella: Okay, but let me just say one thing, this is not an invasion, we’ve been working together wonderfully for months now. This is more of a TNA/NXT Showcase. No, no, no, a showdown. A showdown between NXT and TNA. I’ll see you guys later at the TNA/NXT Summit.

Jacy Jayne: Hold on, hold on, hold on. Let me get this straight, Santino, you have Trick Williams as your TNA Champion, but not as your team captain, but you have Kelani Jordan, who’s been in NXT for years, who only won that TNA Knockouts Championship, I don’t know, ten seconds ago as your other team captain? Please tell me how this makes any sense? This is ridiculous.

Ricky Saints: Hold on, Jacy, Jacy, hold on. We don’t need to be concerned about them at all, we need to focus on our own teams, so I’ll tell you this. Santana, my man, I’m going to see you at the end of the night, how about that?

– We see Je’Von Evans talking to Leon Slater in the backstage area. Slater says that he’s here by himself. Je’Von says that Bound For Glory is going to be a movie. Ethan Page & Mustafa Ali Segment

Ethan Page: Well, I seem to have done it again. Ladies and gentlemen, “All Ego” Ethan Page, the greatest North American Champion, and greatest North American alive, turn away another dangerous challenger, another dangerous threat. Last Saturday, I turned away an Olympic level threat, when I defeated Tavion Heights, and showed him that there truly is a talent gap when comes to Olympic Athletes and the greatest North American Athlete to ever step in a WWE ring. But now I think we take our business south of border. While everyone else in NXT is worrying about TNA coming in here, and stealing all their glory, I have a medical professional who’s coming after my glory. Dr. Wagner Jr. is trying to come after my North American Championship, and you’re a doctor? Pal, the only doctorate that you have is pissing me off, and you’re doing it a banged-up job at it, so why don’t you keep it up? This is perfect, you said you wanted to see me soon. Well, Dr. Wagner, this is the perfect opportunity, come out here, so we can end this.

– Mustafa Ali comes down to the ring.

Mustafa Ali: Citizens of NXT, I hope no one minds my unannounced arrival here, but Mr. Page, listen, my good man, I have no issues with anything that you said, but I do have an issue with what you’re holding.

Ethan Page: Oh, okay, okay, hold on. I don’t have any issues with you. Frankly, I’m just hoping that you’re out here to announce to the world that, under that mask, you in fact are Dr. Wagner III. But if you’re not out here to do that, I have no business with you, and I sure as hell don’t owe you a damn thing, Mustafa.

Mustafa Ali: Woah, Mr. Page, you’re correct, sir, you don’t owe me anything, but NXT does. You see, it wasn’t that long ago, I earned an opportunity at that North American Championship. And yeah, sure, there’s some twists and turns, but the thing is, that opportunity never came. And I started to wonder, maybe I’m cursed, maybe Mustafa Ali is cursed. But then on this day, this very day, two years ago, at NXT No Mercy, I was promised a North American Championship Match, and my dream was on the horizon, but Mr. Page, that day the sun did not rise. Instead of a championship match, I got a phone call, a phone call that told me that my services were no longer needed. And here we are, here we are, 749 days later, and I’m still waiting for the championship match I earned.

Ethan Page: So, let me get this straight, this is the part where you cry, right? This is a hell of a sob story, pal, but honestly, you might want to pick someone with ears that want to hear it, because I’m not the guy.

Mustafa Ali: Mr. Page, I don’t know what kind of man you take me for. You think that I would come down to this ring, and cry for a championship match? No, I’m not gonna cry for a championship match, I’m gonna politic for it, and that’s exactly what I did, ladies and gentlemen. You see, I spoke to AVA and Santino, and next week at Showdown, not only will be it Team TNA versus Team NXT, not only will be DarkState versus The Hardy’s, title-for-title. But next week, I get to end the curse, because next week, “All Ego” Ethan Page defends the North American Championship against Mustafa Ali.

Ethan Page: Okay, you know what, I shouldn’t be surprised at all. I shouldn’t be surprised, every wrestler around the world is coming after me, from every single company. Ali, you want to say that you’re cursed, every challenger for my North American Championship is cursed, pal. You know what, this is a great story. Triumphant return, two years in the making, you’re trying to finally claim what you never could. Next Tuesday, I am going to disappoint you. But don’t worry, I’m not gonna call you on the phone to fire you, but what I will do is wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Ali is throwing haymakers at Page. Ali dropkicks Page to the floor to close this segment.

– NXT & TNA have a massive standoff in the NXT Parking Lot during the picture in picture break.

The NXT/TNA Showdown Summit

AVA: This is chaos, and Showdown is going to be nothing short of historic. Mustafa Ali will take on Ethan Page for the NXT North American Championship. DarkState versus The Hardy Boyz, Winner Take All Tag Team Championship Match. And of course, we cannot forget about our Men and Women’s Survivor Series Styles matches. Now, before this gets anymore out of control, let’s make it official. For the men. What?

Trick Williams: What’s that side eye, AVA? Now, I’ve been doing some thinking. As Co-Captain of The Men’s Team of NXT, I select

Ricky Saints: Woah, woah, woah, hold on, slow your roll, Trick. Yeah, you might be TNA World Champion, but Team NXT is absolute, so let me remind you, I’m the captain, you’re riding the shotgun, you feel me? And I’m about to set our team straight. It’s going to be the new NXT Champion, Ricky Saints. It’s going to be, you, Trick Williams, the TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

Trick Williams: Let’s talk about it.

Ricky Saints: It’s going to be, “Young OG” Je’Von Evans. And my man coming off a big win tonight, it’s going to be you, Myles Borne, get in here.

Santino Marella: Hey, Mikey, tell them who’s on our team?

Mike Santana: How about you both listen to what I got to say? Now, we got a locker room full of men that would love nothing more to turn this place upside down. But if I got three soldiers to go to war with, I know exactly who I’m choosing. First person is a true TNA OG, Frankie Kazarian. Second, second, a 3X former TNA World Champion, Moose. And last but not least, the man who’s been setting TNA on fire, the man that they call the youngest in charge, the TNA X-Division Champion, Leon Slater.

Jacy Jayne: Kelani, before you pick your team, I have something I want to say to you. When I was the TNA Knockouts World Champion, I still repped NXT. So, you can sit there and try to be all innocent as you want, but as far as I’m concerned, you’re nothing more than a two-timing traitor. So, with that being said, for Team NXT, standing by my side will be none other than the only double champ left in this building, the one with the most devastating finisher in the business today, Sol Ruca. Then, we all saw what she was capable of earlier tonight, so I only got two words for you, bring it in, Ms. Parker. And last for Team NXT, someone that I know very well, from personal experience I know that she’s the hardest hitter in the NXT Women’s Division, Lola Vice.

Kelani Jordan: Jacy, you can think all you want, but the point is, I accept all responsibilities when it comes to being TNA Knockouts World Champion, even if that means going against NXT, but especially if that means I get chance to shut you up. But for Team TNA, I’m picking two iconic women. And if you ask me, the new TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions, Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee, The Inspiration. Yep, and for the final member of our team, I thought long about this one. Someone that I shared a locker room with, someone who has something to prove, someone that has a chip on her shoulder, and that woman is, Jakara, I mean, Mara Sade.

Mike Santana: And let me keep it a buck with all of y’all, real quick. Next Tuesday, we’re ceasing the night, and TNA is winning Showdown, the same way I’m walking into Bound For Glory, and bringing that TNA World Title back home where it belongs.

All hell starts breaking loose as NXT and TNA are brawling all over the ringside area. Shawn Michaels is loving the anarchy as the show goes off the air.
