Jackson Drake: Wait, wait, wait, wait, listen, listen. Chill out for a second. There’s a reason why The Vanity Project is out here in their gear. And I’ll tell you why. Boys, I went to Stevie earlier, and guess what? We talked about every single one of you. And guess what, bro? I set you guys up with an Eight Person Tag Team Match. Because when we say The Vanity Project runs EVOLVE, it’s not some wrestling cliche, it is a fact. Now, bring out these dusty ass opponents for me.
First Match: The Vanity Project w/Jackson Drake vs. Sean Legacy, Dante Chen, Drako Knox, Tyra Mae Steele In A 8-Person Tag Team Match
Zayda Steel and Tyra Mae Steele will start things off. Steele is playing mind games with Zayda. Quick shoving contest. Palm Strike Exchange. Zayda kicks Steele in the gut. – Chuey Martinez had a backstage interview with Marcus Mathers and Aaron Rourke. Marcus doesn’t care about It’s Gal’s Stud-O-Meter. Behind that very annoying voice, It’s Gal can go in the ring, they’ll admit to that. Rourke says that Jamar Hampton looks like a real-life action figure. Marcus doesn’t know how Jamar benefits from being It’s Gal tag partner, but that’s none of their concern. Their concern is about getting that dub tonight.
– Carlee Bright gives Kendal Grey some encouragement ahead of her I Quit Match with Wendy Choo. Carlee mentions the fact that Wendy never speaks, so she’s curious to hear how she sounds. Kendal says that she’s going to make Wendy quit tonight, and if she doesn’t want to say it, she’ll make her whimper. Carlee tells Kendal to calm down and to make sure she doesn’t go out there showing off.
– Sean Legacy finds Tate Wilder sulking in the locker room. Sean says that the business is relentless, pro wrestling is tough, it’s a man’s game. Sean tells Tate that he needs to keep that belief. Tate has been knocked down a lot of times in his life, but he’s always got back on his feet, so he needs to brush off this lost to Ridge Holland. This is just the beginning of Tate’s story, it’s chapter one. Sean says that he’s not going to let Edris Enofe’s smug ass off the hook. Sean knows that Tate will get another shot at Ridge, but he’ll have to change his preparation, because the result will remain the same. Sean tells Tate to never let anybody push him around.
Second Match: Marcus Mathers & Aaron Rourke vs. It’s Gal & Jamar Hampton
Aaron Rourke and It’s Gal will start things off. Collar and Elbow Tie Up. Wrist Lock Exchange. Rourke applies an arm-bar. Gal answers with a headscissors neck lock. Gal starts doing pushups. Following a snap mare takeover, Gal slaps the back of Rourke’s head. Rourke slaps Gal in the face. Rourke flexes his muscles. Rourke ducks a clothesline from Gal. Tip Up by Gal. – Chuey Martinez had a backstage interview with Kali Armstrong. What are her thoughts regarding tonight’s main event, as either Kendal Grey or Wendy Choo may be her next challenger? She’s been the EVOLVE Women’s Champion for about 100 days, but tonight she gets to sit back and be a fan, and watch Kendal and Wendy beat the hell out of each other until of them say, I Quit. But the real question is, how’s Kendal gonna make Wendy say, I Quit, when the girl don’t talk? They’re gonna prove why they’re at the top of the women’s division, but they’re also gonna prove why Kali is above both of them. Kali doesn’t bend, she doesn’t fold, and she sure as hell doesn’t quit. Wendy Choo awkwardly stares at Kali before she heads to the ring.
– The Vanity Project scolds Bryce Donovan for losing to Dante Chen. Bryce says that it’s okay for him to help TVP win their perspective matches, but whenever anything goes wrong, they love to point the finger at him. Jackson Drake just needs Bryce to be an enforce. Bryce gets up in Jackson’s grill and says that he’s more than willing to show the champ what an enforce looks like.
Third Match: Kendal Grey w/Carlee Bright vs. Wendy Choo In An I Quit Match
Grey attacks Choo before the bell rings. Grey with a double leg takedown. Ground and Pound Exchange. Choo kicks Grey in the gut. Choo slams Grey’s head on the top turnbuckle pad. Haymaker Exchange. Grey repeatedly stomps on Choo’s chest. Grey slams Choo’s head on two turnbuckle pads. Choo decks Grey with a back elbow smash. Choo sends Grey to the corner. Grey side steps Choo into the turnbuckles. Grey viciously stands on the right shoulder of Choo. Choo scores the elbow knockdown. Choo launches Grey over the top rope. Grey gets Choo tied up in the ring skirt. Grey with clubbing blows to Choo’s back. Grey hyperextends the left shoulder of Choo. Grey with a Baseball Slide Dropkick. Choo crawls under the ring.
