Yoshiki Inamura: Oba, you wanted to see if I had grit. I beat Jasper Troy, just like I beat Trick Williams. You will be my greatest challenge, but I am ready. These people support me, Briggs support me, my friends and family back in Japan support me. Now, I must make them proud. At Great American Bash, I will fight with honor, and I will become the new NXT Champion.
Oba Femi: Oh, no. At least you have the support of the fans and your family and your friends, like Josh Briggs, so maybe they’ll be the ones left to pickup the pieces when I beat you. Because you talk about honor, fighting for honor, well, this Saturday, why don’t you ask yourself, can you lose with honor, because when it’s all said and done, my friend, the truth will prevail. You’re not worthy enough to take this title from me.
Josh Briggs: Inamura is being polite. Brother, did you see what he did to Jasper Troy last week? Come on, let’s be real here, he beat him easier than you did. He’s going to do the exact same thing that he did to Jasper, to The Ruler. What Inamura is too honorable to say, is that at The Bash, he’s going to beat your ass. Look, look, he is a man of honor, but brother, I am not. I’m not done talking, listen. I am not a man of honor, I am a man of mayhem, and I promise, I will do every single thing in my power to make sure that he leaves Saturday as the NXT Champion, because this is our only chance.

Luca says that the only way for him to move forward in NXT is to get the hell away from Stacks, and out of The DON’s shadow. The DON is done with this conversation.

AVA’s Evolution Summit
AVA: October 28, 2018. The first Women’s Evolution. I was in High School at the time, and I remember watching, just thinking about how amazing it would be to be apart of something so monumental. Iyo Sky was in the Finals of The Mae Young Classic, and now she’s the Women’s World Champion. Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch put on an undeniable Last Woman Standing Match. And in a history maker in her own right, Nikki Bella was in the main event. And all of those women continue to push women’s wrestling forward in everything that they do. And as the first female GM in NXT history, I am so proud that NXT is going to be all over Evolution. Zaria and Sol Ruca have an opportunity to become the Women’s Tag Champions. Jordynne Grace will take on Jacy Jayne for her NXT Women’s Championship. And six women from NXT will represent us in the battle royal, with a chance to move on to The Clash In Paris for a title opportunity. And those six women are: Jaida Parker, Lola Vice, Kelani Jordan, Lash Legend, Izzi Dame, and Tatum Paxley. And those women, with that title opportunity on the line, will show everyone why not only does NXT always set up, but we always show out. We have the most stacked and the deepest women’s division in the world. And NXT is the land of opportunity.
– Fatal Influence make their way down to the ring.
Jacy Jayne: Um, I’m sorry. AVA, hi, you remember me, your NXT Women’s Champion?
AVA: I just talked about you.
Jacy Jayne: Right, right. Well, to be honest with you, I think it’s really weird that you keep talking about everyone else when my match and my Women’s Championship are gonna be the highlight of Evolution. In fact, you don’t even need to talk about the Women’s Battle Royal, and when you stand out here talking about the NXT Women’s Division, you’re really just talking about Jacy Jayne. Not your sentimental favorites, TNA tourists, and certainly not your flash in the pan.
Jordynne Grace: Jacy Jayne, running your mouth, again. Let’s all act surprised. Evolution is a groundbreaking event, but you don’t make it special. It’s about the women who paved the way for us. And when I take that NXT Women’s Title from you, I’m gonna be the one steering this division into the future.
Lash Legend: Oh, I love this. Y’all two can go ahead, and keep it going, because this is gonna be a gift for me. Y’all two can keep fighting over that NXT Women’s Championship. But as far as for me, Lash Legend, The Boujee Bully, you best believe I’m gonna be the talk of Evolution, when I go on to win the Women’s Battle Royal in my hometown, Hotlanta, and then I’ll go on to Clash In Paris, and finally win a Women’s Championship.
Stephanie Vaquer: It’s amazing to be back. Jacy, Jacy, Jacy. You are the NXT Champion now, I respect that. But on Sunday, Jordynne is getting the victory, just like I will in the Battle Royal to become the new champion.
Maxxine Dupri: Hold on, hold on, hold on. I know you girlies are not out here discussing women’s history without mentioning The BOAT, the low-key legend, Natalya. Now, listen, Paris may be the fashion capitol of the world, but it’s also where one of us will be crowned as your new WWE Women’s Champion.
Natalya: Maxxine, you’re so sweet, but The Dungeon Dolls, we didn’t come to play, we came to win. And at Evolution, we’re going to be the last two women in the Battle Royal.
– Lola Vice, Zelina Vega, Ivy Nile appear at ringside.
Jaida Parker: Hey now, hold on. Y’all ain’t the only one who wants an opportunity. Look around, this entire Women’s Division in the WWE is stacked. But y’all can go ahead and keep that same energy, because Jaida Parker is going to step into that battle royal at Evolution and be on point. And I’m gonna throw all y’all little asses over the top rope while I’m doing it. And then I’m gonna make my way to Clash In Paris, get me a little title, I might bring back here and defend it or I might it defend up there. But either way, baby, in Atlanta, best believe it’s my time.
All hell starts breaking loose. Giulia joins the fray. Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley looks on from the outside. The brawl continues as the show goes off the air.
