Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles, Sami Zayn, and Adam Pearce Segment
Corey Graves: Now, gentlemen, all three of you have laid claim to being the rightful WWE Intercontinental Champion, which is why this Sunday at Clash Of Champions: Gold Rush, the three of you will compete in a winner take all triple threat ladder match, with the winner being declared the Undisputed Intercontinental Champion. Now, before the contest this Sunday, tonight, Jeff and Sami, your championships will be raised high above the ring, in the first ever WWE Intercontinental Championship Ascension Ceremony. Now, need I remind the three you or two of you, in particular, by agreeing to terms of this match up, there is no championship advantage. Quite simply, the first superstar to climb a ladder and retrieve both championships, will be declared the Undisputed WWE Intercontinental Champion.
AJ Styles: Hey, Jeff, let me ask you a question, before you hang that championship up. How’s it feel? Is it a little heavy? Because I want you to savor that moment, because that is the last you’re gonna hold that championship, you know, the one that you cheated to get in the first place. That’s how you got that championship from me in the first place. And, you, Sami Zayn, I don’t even know why you’re even here. Why are you here? Oh, that’s right, you’re claiming you’re still the Intercontinental Champion, when you took the summer off to go have a little fun, growing out that neckbeard. Yeah, you’re nothing, you’re nobody, okay? No, I’ve broken my back to try to make that Intercontinental Championship mean something. Yeah, I did. By the way, didn’t I beat you last week?
Sami Zayn: You know, this whole match shouldn’t be happening. None of this should be happening. This is all happening because, AJ, you decided to partake in a tournament to crown a new fraudulent champion, and that was you, you were the fraudulent champion for a minute, sure. And this match shouldn’t be happening because then, Jeff, when you that fraudulent-sham championship or shampionship, when you won it, you should’ve done the right thing, which was to call me on the phone, right away, denounce that championship and recognize me as the rightful Intercontinental Champion. But, you didn’t, you didn’t do the right thing, and now I have to defend my Intercontinental Title, in a Ladder Match? Do you have any idea how dangerous a ladder match could be?
Jeff Hardy: Sami, shut up, man. I can’t believe this, but I actually agree with AJ.
AJ Styles: Yeah, that’s right, because I have some common sense around here. Smartest guy in the ring.
Jeff Hardy: Sami, dude, you should be grateful. I mean, unlike you, AJ and myself have defend the Intercontinental Championship, week to week, with honor, some more than others. Clash Of Champions, this ladder match, this is your chance to make that championship, legit. So, before I beat you in this match tonight, why don’t we hang these titles, high above, so we could tear the house down come Sunday and put an end to this nonsense? Bring that thing down.
AJ Styles: Yeah, bring it down, so this could be the last time they hold those championships that neither one of them actually deserves, especially not Sami of Jeff Hardy, the cheater and the guy who likes to take vacations whenever he wants.
Sami Zayn: The guys who are actually holding championships are gonna do this now, okay? Step aside.
AJ Styles: Go ahead, guy who wasn’t here and cheater, let’s do that. Good job, yeah, you actually know how it works, i’m shocked.
Corey Graves: Well, gentlemen, we’re all set. All that’s left to do this Sunday, is climb and retrieve the championship. Good luck to the three of you.
– Sami Zayn drives the ladder into Hardy and Styles. Zayn transitions into a ground and pound attack. Zayn walks to the backstage arena.
Adam Pearce: Sami, don’t you know that sometimes it’s best to leave well enough alone? After that stunt you just pulled, i’m officially adding AJ Styles to your match tonight against Jeff Hardy. That’s right, it’s now a triple threat match, and it’s next.
– Hardy drops Styles with The Twist Of Fate to close the segment.

Bayley Promo
Wow, can you say role model? I mean, I can watch that inspiring footage, all day long, over and over again. But, i’m not going to, alright, because a champions time is precious. And to be honest, I don’t have an ounce of time, left in my body to waste on that useless, Sasha Banks. Unlike Sasha, I have work to do. And unlike that poor little cry baby, begging, Sasha, I have a championship match to prepare for. So, Nikki Cross, first let me start out by saying, I admire your heart, you’re such a fighter, you have the fighting spirit, it’s awesome.
But, last week, I overheard you say that, this match was gonna be different, that this match you actually have a chance of beating me, because I don’t have Sasha in my corner. Nikki, I want you to think about that statement, really think long and hard about why Sasha is not gonna be in my corner, Sunday. If you just watched what I did to my best friend, well, you better be damn worried about what i’m going to do to you on Sunday. And i’m gonna start by slapping that stupid little smile off of your stupid little face. And then, you could only imagine what’s gonna happen next. Right, Sasha?

– Jey Uso walks down to the ring.
Roman Reigns: You want my side of the story? To be honest, uce, I would give you this title, if I could. But the truth is, you wouldn’t even know what to do with it. You don’t understand the accountability, the responsibility of being on top. You don’t understand the weight and the pressure, from being the face of the WWE, how could you? It’s not your fault. You’re a twin. Your entire life, you’ve depended on your brother. Now, I’m not saying you’re half the man that I am, no, you are one half of the greatest tag team of our generation. And because of that, our family and I are so, so proud of you. But our family depends on me. Our family relies on me, being the tribal chief. That’s who I am, in this life. It ain’t you, it won’t ever be you, because it will always be me.
Jey Uso: What if you’re wrong? Why can’t I be the one to provide for the family, uce? Why can’t I provide for my wife and my kids, your nephews? I’ve been battling this, my whole life, you’ve been number one, uce, you’ve been on top. There goes, The Big Dog. There goes, Roman Reigns. There goes, Mr. Main Event, Mr. WrestleMania. You know what they say, when they see me, uce? Which one are you? After Sunday, when they ask me, who am I, they’re gonna say, I know you, uce, you’re the one who beat Roman Reigns at Clash Of Champions for the Universal Championship. And that right there, uce, that right there will be me.

Our family needs me to have this title and you want to take it from me? You’re gonna take your pay day, you’re gonna take the ass whipping that comes with it, but you’ll never take this title. And you’ll never take my place at the head of the table.
